which TS meal would you plan on paying for out of pocket?

We have one more ADR for table service than TS credits. Initially I was thinking we would split a pizza and salad among our group of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids under 9) and pay out of pocket at Via Napoli, now I'm having doubts about that idea because so many of the pasta entrees look amazing.

ADR include:

dinner at sci-fi dine-in
character breakfast at tusker house
dinner at LTT
breakfast at Crystal Palace
dinner at Whispering Canyon
dinner at Via Napoli

Which meal makes the most sense to pay out of pocket?

The one which would get you the least value out of a dining credit. Compare the prices of the character breakfasts and the dinner at Sci Fi (Sci Fi is not very expensive). If you don't want pizza to share, then use DDP at Via Napoli.

If you decide to use the DDP at Via Napoli, your kids will have to order off the kid's menu. Are there things there they want to eat? If all of you order using the plan, you can still share off your adult plate with them to supplement, but they will need to order. If there is only one pasta dish you're eyeing, you could order that one dish and the large (not mezzo) pizza to share among the four of you.

Assuming you keep Via Napoli on DDP, is anyone planning on ordering the skillet at Whispering Canyon? If not, then I would be tempted to split WC with Sci-Fi. One adult and one child uses the DDP and the others pay OOP at each of these two restaurants. You would then have the two desserts to share. Just be sure the one adult ordering the more expensive entree uses the credits.

I'd pay OOP at Sci-Fi or Via Napoli. If you are up for sharing a big pizza instead of getting individuals, VN is the clear winner, as DDP there is a hot mess.
