Which Theme park

Going in 3 weeks and undecided which theme park to do, only doing one or two since we go to Fl. a few times a year.

In January we went to Magic Kingdom, our kids are 7 and 11.

Kids want to go to Universal Studios and we (DH and myself) want Epcot.

i voted for MGM because of the age of your children.
Universal would be my second choice for them, although
the 7 year old might not like it as much. IMHO, EPCOT is
also great for the older and questionable for the younger.
Also-EPCOT is pretty tame aside from Test Track and shopping
and food are main themes for at least 1/2 of EPCOT. Don't misunderstand-EPCOT is my favorite park-I just think the
others are better for children the age of yours.

Discovery Cove, if in the budget. I think the kids are at an age where they would truly enjoy the very unique experience of DC. I have never been there nor seen it, but the reports I have read are breathtaking. Of all those listed, for me it would be DC all the way.

It will always be Magic Kingdom if I could only do one. Have to get my Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean fix.

Hmmm. Tough choice. I'd choose all 4 of the major WDW parks. Maybe one of the water parks too.

No question. For me it would be Epcot. It has always been my favorite theme park.

I'm really appreciating all this. Keep it coming. It seemed Epcot was way ahead for a while now MK is catching up. Universal seems way, way behind.

I just asked my 10 year old son and he said Universal. I don't know which park I'd choose, that's hard!

I would enjoy the other parks, but all the time I'd be thinking "...when do we get to go on POTC/HM/Buzz/the mountains...?" There's a reason it's the number one theme park in the world.

I chose Animal Kingdom because I have only been there once. MK would be my last choice. I would prboably pick EPCOT if I had been to AK more.

OK so far, this is the way we are leaning. It was Universal because we (DH and I) didn't really want to do MK.

Kids are saying MK all the way, so I convinced them to do Universal instead, but I forgot to convince DH to do Universal, he really wants Epcot, hasn't been there in 7 years.

So we are now leaning to go to MK and Epcot. Then everyone will be happy. Except my DD11 who thinks Epcot isn't fun, by the way she was last there when she 5 years old. DD7 wants to go to Epcot.

So this is the way we are currently leaning, thanks to all your responses.

Anyone with kids out there that want to add input and let DD know Epcot is fun, LET THEM PLEASE POST HERE, so I can show her.

My DH and sons ages 12 and 13 would pick Epcot.

But I choose MK! It's classic Disney at it's finest!

Just want to keep this on page one to show DH the poll. Seems MK and Epcot are the biggest hits.

I voted for MK. It was the first park I visited on my first trip to Florida and it has become my all time favourite.

MK....it's Walt's place....
