Which tax % if buying tickets at Disney store?

I would like to buy our tickets ahead of time at our Disney store but I think we have a much higher sales tax here (8.5%) versus Orlando (6.5%?). This might be a stupid question do you pay your local sales tax rate or the one of Orlando when buying tickets in this manner. Thanks

It's a Florida tax rate--not actually "Orlando", but one of the counties--can't remember which at the moment. Regardless, it will not be charged at your local tax rate.

Yes. It's definately a Florida tax rate. I bought my tickets at a local Disney store last year thinking that I would save a few bucks on the tax if nothing else and was surprised to see that I was paying Florida Sales tax not my local sales tax.

Thanks for your quick response. I guess it wasn't a stupid question after all. I would have just asked the worker at the Disney store but she was very misinformed about the types of tickets they sell ( she told me if you got added a park hopper option it also would never expire!! ) so I didn't think she would know the answer to this question until after the transaction went through.

You pay the tax rate for Citrus / Orange county, Florida, where Disney is located, which is 6.5%. It works online as well. Our tax rate in Jacksonville, FL (Duval County) is over 7% and I only had to pay the 6.5% rate on our tickets as well.
