Hi, could you please recommend a sun lotion for three gingers, must be factor 30 at least as I burn when the fridge light comes on. I've read that the P20 you can get on the plane is good, also Ultrasun, very expensive but if it works great.

Hi

For my ginger kids:D I use coppertone with a 45 factor. It is ok for them when they have been over there. We always buy it from Walmart.
I have heard that P45 is brilliant for light skinned people, you can get it in duty free at the airport.

Being half Scottish and half Irish you can imagine I go a lovely shade of red! Have to say I discovered P20 2 years ago and I wouldn’t use anything else now, reasons being, I don’t burn with it, I actually come home from holiday a light shade of brown as opposed to a luminescent shade of tomato, it doesn’t smell, it’s not thick and messy and best of all you only need to apply it once a day. I also suffer badly with prickly heat but since using P20 it is nowhere near as bad as it usually gets.

I would like to point out however that you really do need to stay out of the sun for at least 1 hour after application, the only day I did get a bit red was the day I rushed out after applying.

p.s. you can also buy P20 in Superdrug

Hi,

On a recent holiday someone, who like yourself had ginger hair and pale skin said that P20 was good but it can sometimes stain your clothes and that Ultrasun was much better.

I think the previous link may be wrong, as I tried it and it wasn't for the Ultrasun I thought it would be.

Did a bit of Google searching and found this one, which looks ok

You can get a list of supplies by area via the distribution section.

P20 does stain certain materials, but its not noticeable till you take them off and it does wash out, even after a 2 week wait till you get back home. I haven’t had any clothes ruined with it.

Ambre solair factor 30 milk. I burn and suffer easily from sunstoke.

this is the best I have had and even got a great tan. I think patience was the key, not worrying after day 1 that I didnt look like some greek addonis (ha ha ). I must say I have not tried the other products.

Has anybody done the airboat ride at boogy creek?

I have been meaning to do it for a few years now but never got round to it.

Would you recommend it?

regards

Brian
