Which summer week is best for WDW?

I listened with interest to the podcast awhile back about how to go to WDW in the hot and humid summer. But I still have one more question.

It looks like our first trip to WDW will have to be in the summer. I had wanted to do November, but we are both teachers and it is just really hard to miss that much school during the year. Especially for DH. He is a math teacher and subs just don't know math well enough to keep up with the lesson plan and make sure the kids learn it.

So, which week or two during the summer would be best to go to WDW? The second week of June to the first week of Aug is our window. At DLR we know not to go in June because of the Socal APs not being blocked yet, the grad nights, the end of year school trips, and the summer schedule is not usually in full swing until half way into June. I don't know the ins and outs of little things like that for WDW that make a difference so any ideas would helpful.

I'd leave as quickly as possible after school let out.

I'd say the 2nd week of June, your first opportunity, would be best. A lot of northern schools are still in session then and the worst of the summer heat isn't occurring quite yet.

Thank you. I'll look in to that then. I'm out at the end of May but have to wait for DH to get out in early June. That will be close to our anniversary so that's better anyway.

Good question! I'd be interested to know too.

Although I'm thinking we would like to go for at least 10 days so Easter week isn't probably long enough. That, and DH and I often have different spring breaks. Still, I'd like to know.
