The proposed crowd levels are 3 for our Hollywood Studios day.

We want to do Beauty & the Beast, Fantasmic, Indiana Jones and Frozen. Which 2 would you FP+?

Side note: is the Fantasmic dinner package worth it?

I daresay none of them warrant an FP. If forced to choose maybe Frozen and BatB over Fantasmic, but only because Fantasmic is late in the day and ties up any ability to get additional.

True. Theres just honestly nothing else for us to use the FP+ on (obviously trying to get one for TSL)

Agreed, don't FP a show, not needed.

As others are suggesting & assuming you want NO other FP's outside of TSL. Book the hard to get SDD as close to opening, say 9-10 & 2 easy to get FP's for directly after. Then day of, rope drop say TSMM, then use SDD FP, then modify & move up 2 easy FP's so they expire sooner, then try for more TSL FP's, while you're waiting for FP's to expire is a good time to go to shows. Happy planning!

You can find day off FPs for any show at HS, so you can really FP all of them.
You don’t need to, but you can..

Beauty, Frozen, and Indiana Jones don’t really need a FP. I would not use one of the initial three FPs for Fantasmic because it prevents you from obtaining additional FPs because it so late in the evening. Better to hit refresh on MDE later in the afternoon and hope you can snag one. If you plan a table service dinner at HS anyway, I second the recommendation to get the dining package. Then the Fantasmic FP is a nonissue.

If you’ve got a park hopper, you might consider rope dropping a TSL ride, using standby for the HS shows, and planning your 3 FPS for another park the same day.

Beauty is so well done, it’s one of our favorite shows at WDW. The outdoor theatre is large, there are lots of seats. Frozen is a smaller indoor venue like a movie theater, so has less capacity.

I was able to snag a Fantasmic FP about an hour before the show. There were only 2 of us, so that may have made it easier. I just wouldn’t tie up a FP unless there isn’t anything else you want to do earlier in the day.

I wouldn't spend a FP for any of the shows.
BaTB, Indiana Jones and Frozen all seat alot of people.
A FP for Fantasmic gets you a more centered seat.

We have done the Fantasmic dinner package a few years ago. It didn't cost any more. You go in the FP entrance and have a reserved section for seating.
You do still need to arrive early as the seating area does fill up .

This is among the best advice I’ve gotten here. We had a FP last week, with the return time listed as 7:50-8:05. But we headed over around 7:30 and found the first section of FP already full. By 8:00 the FP area was basically standing room only. If I had gone by the time on our FP we would have been scrambling to try to sit anywhere, much less together in decent seats.
