As one of the more indecisive people on this planet, I can't decide which WISH shirt I would like to order. So I'm seeking the help from those who already have either. Show us pictures of you wearing your Coolmax or Alert Shirts to help those of us get a better idea for which we want to order. I know this will help me and hopefully will help some other newbies as well. Thanks!

Typical ALertSHirts for racing:

AS also has sweatshirts, long sleeved and cotton/poly Tees as a cheap option to scream team.

Here you go!

The picture above is from the Chicago RnR half. Those of us in the front in WISH shirts are wearing the alert shirts. They are a heavier, but still wicking, material. They also run long, which is especially great for my DH who is 6'3".

The picture below is from the Princess half. Wendy and Diane are wearing alert shirts, Matt is wearing RR. The material is more light-weight, similar to the official Princess shirts we received in our goody bags.

I hope this helps. You could always do like I did, and order some of each:cool1:

Here is a picture of me wearing a RR shirt last year in front of the Bean in Chicago:

Bumping this thread so that people who are thinking of getting shirts for January can see the difference in color and sizing, etc. (Remember, the shirt order threads, as well as the hat/visor thread, are stickied at the top of this forum! :thumbsup2)

I'm sure this was mentioned already, but from what I recall, the Alert Shirts tend to run a bit small, or at least for me they did. If in doubt, order up a size...

I think most people found the RaceReady shirts to run small and the AlertShirts to run big.

I want to order the Race Ready shirts, but can't get past ordering a XXL. I normally wear a L, but am about 6 foot tall and my buddy thought it was best to order the XXL and I trust his judgment.

I was thinking of a Race Ready shirt. Normally in regular, everyday clothes I'm a small - but I'm wondering if a medium will be big enough--or will I need a large? Help!

If you normally wear a small, the medium should be big enough.

If you normally wear a small I would get the RR shirt in a Medium. All my racing tech shirts are small and just about every shirt I wear day to day is small but my RR shirt barely fits. I would go with a medium.

My best advice on the Race Ready shirts is to go to your local running store, or the next big race expo, and try on a Race Ready shirt to see just how small they run. My analogy is if Shaquille ONeal put on a large on his xl frame.

I'm 5'6", and medium framed. I normally wear a large shirt, but in Race Ready the large is snug on me. I need to order xl my next go around.

See, it rides up on me!

The RR shirt runs short and small. I am just wearing my XL RR shirt and I am wearing mostly L and some M shirts. I had to lose over 30 pounds to be able to wear my XL shirt in Chicago! I like it, but it does ride up.
