Which room at VWL???

now that we are in the single digits, is there a better room/area to request??? When I did the on-line check in, I just asked for near transportation. Not sure if that is the best.... Help me oh wise VWL vets!!!

They're all good. You can request to be near the elevators if you prefer that, or far from it if you don't mind doing the extra walking (but would like fewer people walking past your door). You can request to be on a higher or a lower floor. And you can request to be on the Bay Lake or transportation side, but both have basically the same views (trees).

It's all down to your tastes, really.

Ransom is correct in that pretty much all the rooms share a similar view--mostly trees. From some rooms on the back side of the Villas you can catch a peek of the lake through the trees. I will say that the farther down the hallways you go, the closer you get to the dumpster area located at the very end of the Villas. I prefer trying for rooms with views of the pool--the balconies seem a little more open. As for being close to transportation, the bus stop sits between the main lodge and the Villas, so the only way to get closer is within the building, i.e., closer to the elevators. The boat dock sits on the other side and behind the main lodge, but even then it's only a three or four minute walk. I hope you enjoy VWL as much as I always have.

I concur – mostly trees, mostly trees, mostly trees. That is why we stay there!
