Which Room at Disneyland Hotel?

We are coming in for 3-Nights, 4 Days and have the first 2 nights at the new Homewood Suite's hotel under Hilton points. I want to book our last night at the Disneyland Hotel. We have never been to any Disneyland Hotel and my sister will be celebrating for the first time at Disney! With the 15% off discount on Orbitz I figure I could use the savings and book us a premier room, but question if it's worth it? Should I just book standard view? It's one night and we won't be in the room till the end of the night. Totally torn as it's $50 difference.

The DLH is set in a Horseshoe pattern around the pool, and I believe that the rooms in the Adventure Tower that face DTD are considered their premium view rooms. I cannot remember if there was an upcharge for the pool view room, but that was where we stayed and I'm pretty sure I just requested pool view in the Frontier tower. We ended up being able to see a wedding below us in the 'Rose Garden' and we could see the Matterhorn in the distance, so a pretty good view! All three towers have a side facing the pool area, and one of the towers (Adventure) faces DTD on its back side. The Fantasy and Frontier towers have parking lots on their opposite sides of the pool, so I'm guessing those are definitely standard view rooms! But the odds are in your favor! I'd splurge elsewhere and enjoy whatever view you get for the standard price.

Yeah, for one night I wouldn't worry about the view. If it was the PPH, there's a *huge* difference between the standard and park view rooms, so I would say it's worth the $50 upcharge there even if you just pulled the curtains back that one time at 11pm when you got back to your room. But at the DLH, not so much.
