So, we leave tomorrow after work and I am SUPER excited. This is our first time visiting DL, so I wanted to ask this of the experts. ;)

I have read and read and read about DL, and from what I've read, Big Thunder Mtn Railroad and Roger Rabbit are the two rides in DL that are not connected with the rest of the fastpass system, correct? Meaning we can pick those up at any time, regardless of what other fastpass we've just gotten.

Please correct me if I'm wrong! Thanks, lovelies! :lovestruc

That is right. Only BTMRR FPs will affect the next BTMRR FP, same goes for RRCTS.

Does haunted mansion have a FP this time of year? Is it connected to the rest in DL?

side note- DON'T ride Roger Rabbit w/out a FP!!! it is one of the most horrid lines hidden in there.....boy were we fooled! from the front door,it takes over 45 minutes to torturously wind your way thru to the ride.....it's the only one like it as far as I could see....well hidden.....

I thought I read somewhere that in DCA, Soarin is not connected. Is that right?
Wrong. Soarin Over CA is always has been connected. For many years GRR was not connected.

At the moment the Roger Rabbit and BTMRR FPs are disconnected.

Thanks Hydroguy - it is shame that I am wrong though because it would be great if it was not connected! Thanks for clarifying this! :goodvibes

The inside line is very well themed, and worth seeing :thumbsup2
This is the OP's first DL visit, so take the regular line once :goodvibes

I know what you mean, it's a DLR and WDW difference. At DL the lines are outside so you know what you are getting into except for a couple attractions. At WDW the lines go inside so you have to trust the wait time signs.

I agree, just like the line on Indy. They add a lot to the attraction.

Just wanted to add that WOC is also disconnected, though OP is apparently already at DL and having fun!! Can't wait to go myself in two weeks!!!

So the funny thing is, we got there before rope drop and rode every ride that was a must for us that had fast pass and the longest wait we had was 10 minutes at Space Mountain. We walked right on to Splash Mountain. We didn't even do fastpass all day, though we probbly should have for Haunted Mansion, but it was only a 35 minute wait, but SO worth it. We had a great time; thanks for all the tips!
