Which rides have you gotten sick/not felt well on?

The swinging gondolas on the Ferris wheel. NEVER been sick on a ride, and that one has my number.

I do feel queazy on the Tea Cups, Star Tours, and on the Tower of Terror. Going to try Bromine next month and see if that helps... (alas never again on the Ferris wheel)

I don't love the drop in Splash Mountain, though it doesn't make my physically ill. I'd face any coaster in DL before Splash Mountain, and not just because I don't love getting wet. :)

I don't mind upside-down, but I did feel dizzy after exiting California Screamin' the first time, I think because of the launch. The drops aren't great for me, but I did much better on it at night, where you can't see the ground quite so well. (And Paradise Pier is so beautiful anyway, I couldn't help but keep my eyes on the view!) Still, if you don't like coasters, I don't think that is a good starter coaster. :)

Francis' Ladybug Boogie packs a wallop; I was shocked! I don't know if it maybe goes faster if you're alone, but I was sitting nearish to the edge of the seats, not that far from the place where the seat disappears to turn into the door. I almost flew off of the seat! I assume you want to avoid Flik's Flyers too.

I haven't tried the swinging cars in Mickey's Fun Wheel. Not very brave of me, but yeah. :flower3:

I get sick on the tea cups now that I am getting older.
I had trouble on Roger Rabbit last time also.
Gadgets Go Coaster made me sick for hours!
My family does fine on Star Tours but I know lots of people who get motion sick on it.

Fear and motion sickness are bad for me too! My family now accepts how odd they find it that I love disney parks, but don't ride many of the most popular rides. I can also identify with motion sickness getting worse with age. Rides I loved as a kid now make me queasy. Unfortunately this adds to the anxiety.

I'm new to DLR, but can say from many times at WDW that Soarin has been fine for me despite previous IMAX issues. There's very little actual motion so just shut your eyes. What caught me off guard last time was how sick I got on TestTrack, I almost lost it as soon as we stepped out of the car and honestly wasn't feeling well for the rest of the day. Has anyone gotten sick on RSR?

As for fear, I finally tried Space Mt for the first time on our last trip to WDW and was absolutely terrified. I think the inability to see what was coming next really pushed me over the edge. I'm proud I tried it, but it was proof that ToT and other big thrill rides aren't or me. My goal at DLR is to be brave and ride Matterhorn.

Swinging cars on Mickey's Fun Wheel nearly ruined my day last trip. That one and Star Tours are the two I won't be riding again!

Star Tours is the worst for me, I rode it last time just to see the upgrade, big mistake!
Soarin' has made me feel slightly sick, but not too bad.
I tend to have problems when I stare at screens...

Teacups & the old Star Tours make me ill. Space Mountain makes me feel "off" for a good while after riding.

I had the same reaction to Space Mountain. Love thrill rides so I did not expect my reaction. Not knowing what was coming terrified me. I have control issues and get very anxious when I don't know whats going to happen next. Space was too much for me. I am willing to try again now that I know what to expect. I hope I can enjoy it as much as the rest of my family!

In our 2012 trip, I was given the job of going on each ride and letting my pregnant wife know whether she could go on it. Loved just about every ride. The faster, the spinnier, the higher, the droppier the better.

Except that bloody swinging ferris wheel carriage!!! Like a lot of other people here, that was just about the only one I couldn't stand. I was hanging on for dear life the whole time and felt just awful.

Personally I think every swinging ferris wheel carriage should be piled up in a heap in front of Paradise Pier and set on fire.

My sickness is getting worse with age. I used to be fine to go on all rides, but now I have to limit what I go on. If I go on Screamin' and Soarin' on the same day I'm done with motion rides for the day. I have taken Bonine and it does help.

I have never been able to ride Star Tours without getting sick. :(

I have developed pretty intense motion sickness as I have gotten older, so I was quite worried about the rides at Disneyland. We are here now and just finished our first day. I took the advice of some posts on here and have taken Bonine every night (I can't take it in the morning as it makes me drowsy), starting a day early (so I had taken two by the time our first day came). I also got some ginger gum that I chew just before any ride that I'm worried about. Yesterday we went on a bunch of rides, including Matterhorn, Astro Oribitors, Star Tours, and Teacups. I didn't feel sick at all. It was amazing! :cool1:

(Note: we also minimized the spinning on teacups.)

We just got back from Disneyland and hadn't been there in five years. We rode Matterhorn, having really fond memories of it from our last trip (it was the first trip my now-husband and I ever took together!) and my husband was like, "Wow, Matterhorn at 26 was fine, but Matterhorn at 31, not okay!!". I am sensitive to headaches and suffer from migraines, so my experience might not be normal, but I definitely had to take my medication after a ride on that! So much bumping and just uncomfortable all-around. It's weird as we went on it a bunch five years ago I and I really don't remember it being bad at all.

I also felt a bit woozy after California Screamin' - just needed to sit down and have some water after that. Never had a problem on Rock n Roller Coaster in WDW but for some reason this one just affected me.

My husband normally doesn't get sick on anything, but Soarin' makes him nauseous. He'll go on it once with me but that's it.

I told him we're just getting old :)

The only ride in all of Disney (land or world) that made me feel sick was when I rode Expedition Everest in WDW 2 times in a row. I felt fine the first time, but I knew the second time was a mistake immediately after it started. Nothing at Disneyland has made me sick. Keep in mind though that I have NEVER done the teacups or any other spinning ride at any of the parks. Just not my thing. I know I would get sick on them.

Bonine works great for me too!

Never get sick on any rides until I turned around backwards to see my daughter in Flik's Flyers. I was trying to look back from the container I was in to the one behind me and I damn near gave the people under us a reason to fear the sky.
