DD10 and I went yesterday and here's my observations. WOC has changed the way some of the ride lines are now.
We entered DCA at 10 a.m. (got held up upgrading our AP and couldn't get in at 9:30). FYI, the line to get into DCA was pretty long at 9:30. I figure most of them were there for either WOC Showpasses or TSMM.
We opted to head for ToT and ride it first. Got there at 10:03 and there was a small line. We were off the ride and getting in line to ride again at 10:23 so not bad, 20 min. inc. the ride. Second time was much shorter-entered at 10:23 and were completly done at 10:33. Only 10 mins. this time. The first time we rode it all the guests who went there first were in line ahead of us.
We went to DV Meet "n Greet and then headed over to PP (going by Soarin' and grabbing a FP) Screamin' had a 25 min. so we opted to use skip it and come back when our next FP window opened (soon). We checked out TSMM, 45 min. wait. We continued on. Mickey's Fun Wheel, 25/30 min. wait. Onward. We rode Maliboomer using SR line. They only had 1 tower open but while we were in line the opened the second tower. Yeah! We only waited about 10 min. to ride.
Next onto to Silly Symphonies. Posted time was 20 min. but it only took 10.
Next stop, MM, using SR line. Waited less than 5 min. to ride. We then rode GZ with no wait. Then we circled back over to Screamin' and rode it using SR line and grabbed a FP as well.
During this circle around PP we took time out for lunch at WWS in GC. Used our receipt to get back in the DCA/CG gate. No problem.
As we headed over to DL to see CELEBRATE! we checked out the FP line at Soarin' but it looked to long. We decided not to wait. FYI-to me it seems like the FP line is always long for Soarin'
After doing some things at DL we headed back over to DCA for an ice cream break at Brrrr Bank Ice Cream. Gibson Girl in DL had a much longer line.
After getting refreshed from sharing our double scoop in a waffle cone we had restored our energy enough to do some more rides. This was about 6 p.m. We checked out ToT but the posted time was 20 min. and we didn't want to wait.
Back over to PP. Checked out Soarin' FP line again, still too long.
GRR had a 5 min. wait (this was the theme all day-the sun didn't come out until after 4 yesterday). Stopped in at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
Rode Screamin' using our FP. Jumped on Triton's Carousel-no wait. TSMM still had a 45 min. wait. MFW had 20 min. wait. Skipped both and went to Maliboomer. Rode using SR again, posted wait was 10 min. On to SS, 10 min. wait. Then we rode GZ with no wait. It was a little before 7:30 when we boarded GZ and we saw them open the area for WOC for the 9 p.m. show.
Since we were getting tired we decided to head home after a quick stop at RCCT. DD10 loves the Smoke Jumpers zip line. As we passed by GRR it still only had 5 min. wait. Soarin' FP was still to long for us.
My observations-the BEST time to ride the rides at PP is in the evening when many people are lining up for WOC. We could have ridden most rides there several times before they closed the rides down-except of course for TSMM.
