Hi all!
Which restaurants would you say are must do's for WDW?
I am going to WDW in July for a 5 day trip with my mom and sister. They surprised me as an early birthday present. Neither of them have been to WDW since we went as a family in 1989! DH and my dad cannot take the time off so it is just us girls.:cheer2:

We are not looking to do anything elaborate. Primarily looking to dine in the parks. Dh and I have done exactly what we like to do the last few trips, but I want them to have the best Disney experience possible!!
So what are your must do's?
Thanks! :)

Our must do list consist of California Grill, Kona, & LeCellier!

Mrs. Disney Ron

Our must do is O'hana and then Chef Mickey's, not only for the kids but DH too. I'm hoping to add more must do's to our list after this next trip!;)

MGM-Brown Derby and Sci-Fi
Epcot-Teppanyaki and Le Cellier
MK-Liberty Tree
AK-Rainforest
CR-Chef Mickey and CA Grill
GF-Narcoosee and 1900 Park Fare
WL-Wispering Canyon
BC/YC-Beaches & Cream and Yachtsman Steakhouse
Poly-O'Hana's (dinner) and Kona (breakfast)

LeCellier and O'Hana's are our must do's. The last time we visted we went to the All Star Cafe and all enjoyed it, it is now on our faves list.

It looks like you've got some really great table service suggestions, so I'll throw in a few of our laid back suggestions... :)

We love the ESPN Cafe on the Boardwalk (by Epcot's back gate)... Last time we were there, the kicker for the GB Packers was there doing a live show (kinda neat- the hubby and kids loved it).
We also do the House of Blues every year (great atmosphere)

As for in the parks... Well, we snack it up... Funnel cake (sold at MK & E), fudge (MK, MGM, DD), and the candy apples (MK, MGM, DD) are THE BEST!!!

As for counter service, we're nerds, so we get a kick out of the lounge singing alien at Cosmic Rays in the MK (great place to sit if it happens to rain).

HAVE FUN! :)

My favorite restaurants in the parks are Sci-Fi at MGM. The atmosphere is what makes this place so much fun and a unique dining experience. I recommend sticking with burgers, onion rings and shakes:) I like LTT in MK but I also like to take the monorail to the Poly for 'Ohana. My favorite in AK is Tusker House. It is a CS place with TS quality food.:cool1: As far as EPCOT goes it's hard to go wrong there. So far my favorite is Chefs de France. I would check out the menus and see what appeals to you. There are a lot of great options.

Le Cellier - I'm drooling just thinking about the pretzel bread and steak!

We loved Chef mickeys, Coral Reef, 1900 Park fare, Ohana's and Cinderella's royal table. These were all for dinner.

Our must do's are:

Le Cellier
Boma
50's Prime Time

My son also loves Garden Grill. Other restaurants we enjoy from time to time are Teppanyaki, ESPN, Plaza, Rainforest Cafe at AK, Brown Derby, Chef Mickey and Liberty Tree.

Breakfast: Kona

Lunch: Cosmic Ray's, Sci-Fi, and the Brown Derby

Dinner: Liberty Tree and the Flying Fish

For Breakfast, we love Kona. Otherwise, we usually sleep in and then try to scrounge something for breakfast. Or we skip it, and go straight to...

Lunch: Sci-Fi is a lot of fun, and the Brown Derby is terrific. A WDW visit without a Cobb Salad is like a day without sunshine. We also like the restaurants (indoor or out) at Mexico along with the margharitas. A burger at Cosmic Rays always finds it's way in to our tummys.

Dinner: We always fit in either the Cali Grill or the Flying Fish, or both if possible. Although I think we're taking a break from the Cali Grill based on our last experience. Liberty Tree has become a staple, simply because DW loves it.

We have now made a tradition of doing Le Cellier. DH really enjoys the food there. The girls love Crystal Palace, so we either do breakfast or dinner there. I enjoyed the Rose and Crown pub, so we probably will do that when we go back.

Boma and Liberty Tree are must do's. we only discovered the awesomeness of Boma last November when we tried it because of such positive feedback on here. It was such a nice "grown-up" buffet. I also love 50's Primetime but sometimes we will exchange it for Sci-fi.

WE have so may fav's but we always make sure we eat at
Liberty Tree and Park Fare-MK
Le Cellier and San Angel Inn-Epcot
Rainforest Cafe and Planet Hollywood-DTD
Sci-fi-MGM
Tusker House-AK
and we always do Pecos Bills at Mk for a counter service my husband and daughter make it a must.

No matter waht you choose have fun and enjoy.... :woohoo: :cheer2:
off site-many:
on-site
All-Stars Movie-Oct 2005
All-Stars Music-Oct 2006
Pop-Century-Sept/Oct 2007

I haven't had a chance yet, but I would go to the Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian. That would be a wonderful, relaxing spot to be in the afternoon.

Favorite places I have been to: Kona Cafe (Lunch or Dinner), 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace (get the first dinner time) and 50's Prime Time cafe for dinner - this was so much fun & the food was great!

Happy planning ~ what a great vacation you will have!
