Which restaurant would you choose?

It will just be me and DD13. She loves Italian food, crab legs, burgers, pizza sausage only, sweet and sour chicken, steak. Most menus have something she would eat. But she recently got braces so that alone limits some choices. We don’t want to break anything on them while there.

Of course, I love the blues. We often go to Memphis and enjoy bbq and blues while eating. We already have one night in the Springs with Paddlefish because she loves crab legs so much and that is the only place I found them. What should we pick our 2nd and most likely only other night at DS?

Here are a few available choices: HOB, Maria & Enzo’s, Morimoto, Planet Hollywood, Raglan Road, Rainforest cafe, STK, Splitsville, Terralina, Edison, Wolfgang Puck. She might enjoy the bowling at Splitsville. But if HOB is playing, that is where I lean. This will be dinner. It is a non park day where we eat breakfast at WC and have horseback riding scheduled. Plan to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening in the Springs.

Also, we do have Tutto already booked for Epcot and Yak n Yeti for AK so also kind of want to try a variety of meals. What is best do not miss Italian?? If we only go to one Italian restaurant, which one would you pick? Seems like every place has multiple choices when it comes to Italian! TIA for your recommendations!

HOB is very, very good and has a wide range of selections that could satisfy just about anyone. However, I've also eaten at Splitsville and was surprised at how much I enjoyed the food. I think your tongue will be happy no matter where you land!

Best Italian restaurant in WDW is at the Swan Hotel II Mulino. Been there done that Tutto Italia Ristorante, Maria & Enzo's, Mama Melrose etc

Agreed

My family loves Italian and this is the best on Property. It is not in a Theme Park so no Park Reservations required.

Both the boathouse and raglan road have been mentioned more than once to not being fully social distancing and/or seating folks way too close together for comfort.
As always, ymmv

HOB is really good!

As others have mentioned the best Italian is at the Swan; Il Mulino. Blows away all the other Italian restaurants. We did finally try Terralina last month and were pleasantly surprised so if you stick with DS and want Italian over HOB I would choose that :)

Thanks for all the advice. I think we’ll stick with HOB in DS that day but I’ve made an adr for II Mulino another night. The menu sounds delicious! And with such rave reviews, I’ve got to try it.

If you want Asian cuisine, Morimoto is WORLDS better than Yak & Yeti. I'd switch to Tiffins for your AK meal and do Morimoto at DS if you're set on having Asian cuisine of some type.

We love Raglan Road and we tried Il Mulino last year and loved it! The service and food was great and they even surprised our daughter with a dessert for her birthday.

We usually do not try Italian while on vacation because IMO the Italian restaurants in my neck of the woods are far superior than many, many others, live in between Providence RI (Federal Hill) and Boston...North End. Found too many times was disappointed when tried it in many other states. I say HOB is fantastic plus if there is entertainment another plus.
