Which restaurant is the kids least favorite?

My 9, 6, & 12 yr old girls told me Parrot Cay was their least favorite because it was boring and the food wasn't good. (I liked it, though).

Our seven year old daughter loved them ALL! She LOVED the escargot at Lumiere's, was thrilled with the show at Animator's palate (not to mention the lobster tail!) and enjoyed the colorful decor at Parrot's Cay.

We had to take a picture of her plate every night at dinner "So I can remember how BEAUTIFUL everything is!!" :earsgirl:

I think for the most part, kids like Lumiere's/Tritons the least because they are more formal... My kids liked the show in AP, the tropical themes in PC, but could have done without Lumiere's. They'd rather go on deck and eat pizza on formal nights!

My son says his favorite was Animator's Palate, and his least favorite was Parrot Cay...This surprised me when i asked him, as I expected him to say Lumiere's was his least favorite.

Ok, I'm not a kid.... but I'm a 29 year old picky eater that has been told (by her DH) that I eat like a kid and my least favorite resturant is definately Parrot Cay.

The food was just really different and I had a hard time finding something that I liked. I think I ended up having the large pasta shells and they were actually really good. I love the atmosphere, though so I'll just keep eating my good ol pasta shells! :p

I'm confused... As I remember it, the menu was the same in every restaurant night-by-night. The menus changed every day, but Wednesday's Parrot Cay menu was the same as Wednesday's Animators and Lumiere's menu, etc.

So was it just that the menus you didn't like happened to correspond with your nights in Parrot Cay??? If you didn't like the food in Parrot Cay, you wouldn't have liked it in Animator's Palate either because the menu would have been the same that night...

Right??

I have a very picky child and another who will eat anything...

Thanks to great servers and a variety of child/adult choices, they loved all the restaurants. I don't think they could pick a favorite.

(OK, if you REALLY pushed my 7 year old, he would claim the "free" ice cream stand....);)

We've sailed with out 2 kids twice, planning a 3rd trip, and they enjoyed all of the restaurants. Even when DS was 10 he was ok getting "dressed" up for Lumiere's. We didn't make him wear a tie! There was the occasional grumble about leaving the Lab though!

The only complaint was on the trip when DS was 10 and the seas were getting a little rough - not bad but you can feel the roll more in Parrot Cay. He was really hungry when we arrived and became a bit queasy after bolting his dinner from the movement. He went up on deck for air and was fine - and he was the only one to see dolphins!

my 18 and 15 year olds liked the food at tritons best...
the show at animators
and least liked parrot cay (though they didn't dislike it)...

next time we go they'll both be old enough for palo's so we'll try to go on the PC night of the rotation....

Yep, Beano I guess that is what I was trying to say. If the menu in PC would have been the same the night in AP, then that would have been my least fav food night.
We've only done 3 nght cruises, and I guess I didn't realize that the food is the same in all 3 restaurants no matter where you ate.
I love all 3 dining rooms and wouldn't change a thing with any of them! Just not the Caribbean themed food that night I personally had PC. :smooth:

It is incorrect that menus are the same in every restaurant on a given night. All 3 restaurant's have their own menu.

Beano, the menus in the 3 restaurants are different...
because of our special diets, the head waiter brought food to us from tritons on all 3 nights (that is, a selection from tritons that was not available in either AP or PC).....

in fact, on the first day, he went through all the menus with us to figure out what we could and couldn't eat in each one....
