I read in a trip report about a restaurant that has musical chairs with characters from Alice in Wonderland at about 2:30. When I called Disney Dining they didn't know about this. I thought it was Plaza Inn but was told only Pat-E-Cake was there during the afternoon. Anyone know?:confused3

I think its called "Coke Corner" it is on your left hand side (from the gate) of Main Street and is the very last restaurant. The seats and show are at the back as you head towards Adventureland.

Yep, it's at Coke Corner at 2:30. We did this a couple weeks ago and it was so cute.

Oh Thank you, thank you.:worship::worship: Do you need PS. If so, what time should I make it in order to see this?

You can't make a PS, it's not a restaurant at all. It's in Plaza Square across from Plaza Inn and there are tables and chairs. Pin traders use that area to set up books to make trades and Alice & the Mad Hatter play games there. :) My girls got asked to do it once and it made them sooooooooooooo happy. :)

Do they do this every day, or just during peak season/weekends? Sounds fun!

I've seen them in both on and off seasons. It's super cute, I totally suggest looking for it. If you don't remember where or when ask at City Hall, they will tell you where then.

I've never heard of this.....it looks like fun...so it happen's everyday at 2:30?

Coke Corner is pretty much Disneyland's version of Casey's Corner at WDW.

I wouldn't say you have to get there super early or anything. The majority of people don't even know about it, so it's not like people are lining up and waiting. You could probably get there 5 minutes before 2:30 and still be good to go. :thumbsup2

Technically it's supposed to take place every day, but I've been there when the characters were a no-show. I would imagine that on really busy days (which it was on that day), there are too many people needing the tables and chairs to eat their hot dogs and therefore it's not practical to set up a game of musical chairs.

Musical chairs with Alice and Hatter is one of the things that makes DL special! :lovestruc

We've also seen Mary Poppins, Bert, and a penguin there and my DD got to color and do origami w/ them.

You know I don't know how early to get there. We didn't even know they did this and we were there pin trading. The girls were sitting at a table waiting for us (in view of me at all times) and they came running over and said "Mommy, Mommy, ALICE wants us to play musical chairs!!!! Can we can we can we pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!!!!!" LOL Actually it was more like canwecanwecanwecanwe but you get the point. lol I said "of course you can!" and promptly walked to the table they were at and took tons of photos. :) It was GREAT! They had such a good time, they still talk about it. :)
