We are having our reception at Atlantic Dance Hall so we figure it'd be easiest to stay at one of the Boardwalk resorts for our 'first night' together. Does anyone recommend one in particular as being more romantic?

Beach Club, Yacht Club or Boardwalk Inn? We originally wanted to stay at Swan and Dolphin but it's not on the room block sheet they sent us so I guess that's not an option.

Thanks!!

We stayed at the BWI after our ADH reception and loved it. Walking down the Boardwalk after the reception was so much fun!

They are all nice. I like the pool @ Yacht and Beach better than Boardwalk (it has a sand bottom!) BUT I think the Boardwalk has more charm.

i would say a garden suite at the boardwalk for a splurge. they have private gardens & entrances, jacuzzi tubs & a loft bedroom. the garden suite also has concierge service. the boardwalk would also be more convinient as your reception is right there.

my other vote would go for the yacht club, for its quietier side of the lagoon & simple elegance, its also a stones throw from the boardwalk, epcot & mgm. im biased to the yacht club as were staying there for our wedding week with a view of the gazebo where we'll be married. but im sure either way youre wedding night will be magical!

I would go for the Yacht Club too...very elegant with all the charm of BWI but with a better pool!!

I think my vote will go to the Boardwalk Inn, since you are having your reception there. Definitely either the Yacht club or the BWI though, as opposed to the beach club.. I am sure you will have a great time at any of them, though.

But also, if you stay at the Boardwalk you will always have a strong association with it nd your wedding.. and will want to stay there for your anniversaries etc. And you and your DH2B will always be like "remember the Boardwalk inn... ahhh let's go back to disney again and stay there!"

Anyway, that's what I would do :earsgirl:

Well I love the elegance of the Yacht Club and it can be nice and quiet over there and it's a fun pool with an equally relaxing and romantic quiet pool.

That said The Boardwalk is gorgeous and I also agree if you can pay a bit extra towards the free room go for a Garden Suite - they look gorgeous and totally romantic.

Personally I would avoid the Beach Club as it attracts a lot of noise and hubble because of the Cape May Cafe.

I agree with the others. My first choice would be a garden suite at the BWI. My second choice would be a regular room at the BWI, and my third choice would be the YC. They are all wonderful resorts with a great location!
