Which resort?

I hope to make it back for a trip to WDW in Feb 2005. We definitely want to stay onsite! If I go with my sister only, we'll stay at Pop because we are not picky and will not spend much time in the room. However, DH may come to. He is 6'4" and needs at least a Queen size bed. Can anyone recommend a resort that we can get a King or a Queen size bed and another bed. A cot would be fine if it could be guaranteed. Or maybe the WL--don' t they have some rooms with bunk beds? (Not sure how much that would be). We do want just the one room, and the Poly and GF are just not in the budget. Thanks for any input!!

At the Port Orleans (French Quarter & Riverside) you can get a room with a King bed, and request a rollaway too!

The Wilderness Lodge has rooms with 2 queen beds.
The Swan also has rooms with 2 queen beds.

Just a few ideas!

I posted a question about getting a king room with a daybed or cot at PO-FQ and there was a reply that said no more than 2 people in a king room...

We just returned from 4 nights at AKL and 4 nights at YC. We had two queen beds in each room. DH was able to sleep comfortably on these beds with no problem. (We do have a King bed at home.)

We visited the GF, Contemporary, Poly, and BC while we were there -- if I had to rebook today -- I would choose the YC. None of us wanted to leave.

Hi. Have you maybe thought about looking into the "home away from home" resorts? Maybe something like Old Key West. I've never stayed there, but I'm fairly certain they have 2 queen beds in the studios. They also offer suites, which would be a little more expensive. Also, Ft. Wilderness cabins only have a double bed, a murphy bed, and a bunk bed, but our family (2 adults and 2 older teens) found it very comfortable. One note: the bunks are on the small side-- the top bunk is fine, but the lower bunk doesn't have much head room for an adult. I am not sure if all bunks in Disney are this way, but thought I'd let you know. Hope you have fun!
