Hey!

This is the forst time that I've ever posted on this board, so I hope that you can help me.

My daughter has Down Syndrome. She is high functioning, however, we do use a wheelchair in the parks because of stamina issues. We have a opportunity to stay at either the Poly or Wilderness Lodge. There is a 300.00 difference between the two. (Poly is more expensive) Which would you stay at?
We've been to both, and we like them both. My conflict comes from deciding wheather to use the monorail resort or save the money and go Wilderness Lodge.

What would you advise?

Thanks so much for your help:goodvibes

The Poly!:thumbsup2

I may be biased because I love the resort, but in doing my research the poly is hands down the best for transportation (in my opinion). You have the monorail steps from your resort and the boatlaunch too. For $300, I think your money is well spent staying at the Poly:)

Hi! I'd pick Poly, hands down. We love the Poly, going back for our 2nd stay in April. It really is the best location for transportation options, monorail to MK & short walk to the TTC for the direct Epcot monorail. My son has mild CP & is still small enough to use a stroller. Having a special needs kid, I always opt for convienence over saving a few bucks (if you can afford it.) Have a great trip! :goodvibes

No question. Stay at the Poly! It's on the monorail and that makes all the difference in the world. The pool is great there too. There's a beach and a w/c lift.

The Polynesian! :thumbsup2 The monorail is a ride itself and good for some relaxing time. When my oldest was a toddler I used to ride the monorail over and over (and over and over) to put him to sleep! Worked every time! :)

Thanks so much for all the replies! Poly it is!! This is sort of a special trip because this will be the first time that my daughter and I have gone just the two of us. Her father and I are divorcing and I just wanted to do something special for her. This promotional was too good to pass up!

Thanks again!

My son also has Down Syndrome and the monorail resorts are a blessing. I have never stayed at the poly, but I have stayed at the contemporary and it makes life SO much easier. The WL is my favorite resort though. :)
