Which resort to stay at in mid July just after parks open and why?

Which resort would you stay in during mid July just after parks reopen and why would you stay there?

I don't think any are currently available. If I could pick from any, Boardwalk or Beachclub. It's a nice location and walkable to EP & HS and boat access. Animal Kingdom is attractive too if you like being around the animals and want something to do before and after the parks close.

I just posted on another thread that we are doing a split stay, 5 nights at BCV and 5 nights at BLT. We focused our BCV portion of the trip on going to Epcot and HS and more MK while at BLT so we can avoid getting on a bus as much as possible.

There still is availability for mid-July via DVC rentals. We just added a night at Polynesian Villas to our reopening week trip because we want to enjoy its volcano pool, cute studio rooms, and dining (minus Ohana). Aside from that we're spending 4 nights at Four Seasons Orlando to enjoy their great pool complex & legendary service (& still got Disney booking perks, so we'll be at the parks, too). For two more nights we'll be at Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort for the first time, so we can most easily enjoy Volcano Bay water park. Really looking forward to trying CBBR: it's mid-century theme looks reminiscent of Pop.

This July trip is turning out to be completely different than what we originally had planned before Covid, but that's fine. It's going to be more special, in a way, because all the changes have caused me to look at lodging and activities that I'd never considered before, so this trip will really be a stand-out. Plus, due to all of the stay-at-home restrictions, we're looking forward to travel more than ever.
