Which Resort should I pick?

My home resort is SSR and I love it. With that said, I'm planning to take my Niece, her BF and 6 y/o and another niece and her 3 y/o in the spring.

I'm trying to decide which resort to book. I was looking at OKW as the points are a little lower. I'm also trying to decide whether to get 2 studios or a 2BR. I'm leading towards the 2 studios so my niece, BF and son can have their own space and it doesn't get to crazy. It will be more points, but may be better in terms of my sanity.

I was also thinking of staying at BWV or BCV so the adults could go to Jellyrolls or the dance hall one night while I watch the little ones. This way they could walk.

Finally, trying to decide if we should go in early March or mid-May. Any suggestions on which resort I should try for? Also, are there any special events going on during either of those time periods? Will it be warm enough for the kids to go swimming in early March?

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will be in full swing in May, and that may affect availability at BCV and BWV. Typically, that affect is not as sever as Food and Wine, but if you looking at one of those I'd still try as close to seven months as possible.

Don't forget about lock-off 2BR! You can just close the adjoining door. However, if the kids are like mine, they are running all over the place. Plus with the 2BR you get a kitchen and washer/dryer. Comes in great when you have kids.

If OKW get that 2BR (lock-off if desired). You are looking at a huge difference in size (several hundred sq ft) over 2 studios and you get the living room, kitchen and w/d.

As to 7 month availability, you should be able to get BCV or BWV in early March including chance of getting BWV standard or boardwalk view (those were open this year at 7 months out for early March and in fact were even open a week past the 7 month window). It is somewhat more iffy for BCV or BWV standard or boardwalk view in mid-May (there was a day or two closed out for those during mid-May this year at 7 monhts out). Either time, parks should be manageable. Early March has some risk of cold weather for a day or two.

2 studios will be much cheaper than a 2 bedroom.

If saving points is the goal, go with OKW

That said, i would go for BC if you can get it at 7 months
