Which resort rould you buy

The poll regarding which potential resort you would add on to was very interesting. However, I would like to expand that to include exsisting resorts. I am also modifying the question slightly.

If you were to do it all over again which resort would you choose?

Assume DVC introduced a rule saying you could only own at one resort. I am only including WDW resorts.

Lets not turn this into a which resort is better thread. Therefore, no posting of any negative comments about any resort.

Lets keep this happy and positive. I think the results could be quite interesting.

Easy-BWV. The only reason to care at all where you own is for 11 /7 ressies (maybe resale valu) because you can stay at any of them if you can get a reservation. BWV was sold out but could have worked out a resale I suppose but what really would be nice is the "BWV VIEW" when you reserve. That was never there before and now the times we do want to stay there it would be nice to obtain that at 11 months. That and saving with standard view on occasion would also be nice. Honorable mention would be VWL for XMAS ressies, BCV for spring break ressies and OKW for GV ressies, but BWV gets the nod hands down.

If I had to do it all again, I would buy at BWV again no question. The only thing I would do different is instead of buying a 250 point contract, I would buy 150 and 100 so I would have the flexibility to selloff one when I get older and may not go as much.

I currently own at both OKW and BWV. And would buy them both again if I had to do it all over again.

However, if I could only own at ONE resort, then it would have to be BWV. It is the only way to guarantee booking a standard view or even a boardwalk view at 11 months out.

We own at BCV, do stay sometimes at OKW (38% of our points used/booked at WDW to March 04 have been OKW)

Would buy at CRV given the chance - great location, on Bay Lake, Monorail, walk to MK, the concourse...

I voted GFV. There are several that are so close to first place. We stay at the resort that fits the activities we have planned. When we go to parks, we prefer BWV or BCV. When we golf, we like VWL, looking forward to SSR, and hopefully someday Eagle Pines. But my favorite monorail resorts are GF, followed by Poly.

On the other thread, I voted I would love to add on at an AKLV. For this one, I definately voted OKW. It still would be my "home".

If I could only stay at one resort for the rest of my DVC life, it would easily be BWV - without a doubt

BWV of course!! We just bought our second DVC resort resale here. Can't wait till we get to go home this summer.

We love OKW---and especially value the bigger 1 and 2 bedroom villas as well as the parking right outside your door, but if I was starting from scratch and had it to do all over again, I'd choose VWL. I have always loved the WL best of all the WDW resorts. The ambience there is just so cool imo. If I could have the best of both worlds, I'd want to keep OKW and add-on at VWL

No change. It's still VWL for me. Of all the WDW resorts I've stayed at, this resort gives me the strongest Disney "feel".

I like the other DVC resorts to varying degrees but my heart belongs to BWV.

I have now stayed at all the DVC resorts curently built and they are all fantastic in their own way.
But if I could stay at only one it has to be Boardwalk for it awesome views paticularly from the 5th floor.

I enjoy all the DVC resorts. However, BWV & BCV are our favorites. We enjoy the location and the amenties associated with these resorts.

If the opportunity presents itself you don't have to twist our arms to stay at any of the others. Enjoy!

We would definately pick BWV again although an add on at either AKLV or EPV would be strongly considered!

BWV - you never forget your first love! We just got home tonight after being in a Boardwalk view room this morning. We own points at three other DVC resorts and have had great stays at all of them. But after five years our hearts are still with Boardwalk. We had an outstanding check-in experience with Steve, the room was in great condition, and everyone we saw was very friendly.

We own at OKW but its a tie between AKL or Poly villas if they built them. I love both places.
