Hello! We are going to make a short detour to Disney World during our annual Florida Christmas trip to the grandparents' house. We are planning to stay at Pop Century on the 19th and then spend the 20th at Magic Kingdom. We've been to Disney many times, but never at Christmas. Where would you spend time on the 19th? We have reservations for Chef Mickey, but are there other restaurants that are more holiday themed?

We plan to arrive at MK very early on the 20th. Any special holiday extras that we should make sure not to miss?

If you are looking for a holiday theme in the MK area, I would consider a restaurant at Grand Floridian. While the restaurant itself may not be over-the-top Christmas themed, the decor in the GF lobby is stunning. There is a gigantic tree and a life-size gingerbread house. It's absolutely gorgeous. You may also want to consider dinner at WL for the same reasons. The lobby at Christmas is gorgeous. You could also do a monorail tour to check out the decor at the monorail resorts.

Not many of the restaurants are holiday themed. We enjoy the family style holiday meal at Liberty Tree Tavern. Makes for a wonderful Christmas dinner.
