We are heading down to Orlando over Easter week for a cruise and we want to stay in a DVC resort for 2 nights prior to the cruise and 1 night after. I have Beach Club Villas booked the day after since it is Easter and they seem to do some nice things at this resort. Can anyone reccomend a resort for the 2 days pre cruise? We will not be going to the parks so we need something to keep us entertained for about a day and a half. Thanks!

Since you are not going to do the parks why not stay at SSR. That way you can enjoy DTD. You can walk around, shop and of course eat.

Have you called to check on availability yet? Since you're talking about Easter / Spring Break you may not have a lot of options left at 4 months out. My guess would be you'll find availability at OKW & SSR & possibly AKV. I would be prepared to pick from one of those and personally would be happy with either AKV or SSR if I could get one of those as a last minute ressie for that time of year. Like the last poster suggested, SSR would be convenient for heading over to DTD instead of the parks so I would think that's a reasonable option.

I would also suggest SSR or AKL. AKL is a destination in itself. And SSR because of DTD.
Have a great trip!

I would say animal kingdom villas. My wife and I actually skipped park fireworks to sit and watch the animals. IF you like talking to people from different countries and like animals akv is perfect.

I would vote for SSR because of the ability to go to Downtown Disney as well in this case its spread out campus would be nice right before a cruise.

My vote is for SSR(for the reasons already given) and BCV/BWV. The boardwalk area gives plenty to do if not going to parks. Plus, there is a mini-golf course nearby. Have fun! :goodvibes
