I've heard good things about the Disneyland hotel at DLP. But I want to hear from other people who have stayed at Disneyland in France. Any good feedback on the resorts there?

All the Disney hotels have their supporters. For a look at the different amenities have a look at the Hotel FAQ sticky.

We've stayed in the Hotel Cheyenne which is a great theme hotel complex. Both boys and girls should enjoy the western feel. You are 15 minutes walk away or served by shuttle bus if you prefer.

Our favourite is the Davy Crockett Rach. Granted you need a car as there is no shuttle service, but for space, theming, best pool on-site this can't be beaten.
We'd be bumping into each other in a hotel room. Whereas this home from home is excellent :goodvibes

Same Davs Awsome (:

It depends on what your budget is really. I like all the places I have stayed in but the Hotel New York & Sequoia Loadge are my personal faves due to the styling & size of the rooms.

We have stayed in all Disney hotels (except DCR) and we liked them all.

My favs are in this order:

Disneyland Hotel (I would stay there every time if I could afford it, it is like sleeping in the park) :cloud9:
Newport Bay Club (I love the New England theme)
Sequoia Lodge (great during Winter and if you love to be surounded by nature)
Hotel New York (some kind of adult hotel and great service)
Cheyenne
Santa Fee

when we go we are in the parks all the time so I would hate to waste money on a lovely Hotel that we weren't going to spend any time in...hence why we stay in the Santa Fe Hotel....We have never had a problem with it..clean friendly and nice theming. Don't get me wrong I would love to stay in the 'pink hotel' as my wee boy calls it..but then it WOULD have to be a once in a lifetime holiday for us..we are poor!!:rotfl:

I personnaly would like to go once a year for 6 days each time but we can only afford this if we stay in the Santa Fe hotel:thumbsup2

Oh yeah and the SF Hotel is right next to the esso garage which helps with the night time munchies!!:rolleyes1

End of the day all the hotels are lovely its really left to what you can afford:)

The Santa Fe was a really nice hotel, def the place to go if your on a budget.
I cant wait till next year when i can stay in the DLH even if its for 2 nights.

I'm curious, if it is as close to the park as many people say, what is the view like from the Disneyland Hotel?

Its right outside the entrance of the Disneyland park and about a 3 min walk to the studios. Ive not been inside but on the outside it looks beautiful.

Yes the DLH is so close because it is the entrance of the Disneyland Park. If you step outside the DLH then you are in the park.
I always say the DLH is part of Mainstreet. :thumbsup2

In this album you can find some pictures from June 2006 when we stayed at the DLH.
There are also 2 pictures from the view of the California Grill. (were you can have breakfast in the morning)

And here are two pictures that I found on the Internet:

This is the view you could have with a Garden View room:

And this could be your view from a Castle Club room or a suite on the Park Side:

Disneyland hotel has to be at the top of the list, I think we probably all hope to stay there one day.:cloud9:
Then for me it's Newport Bay Club followed by the Cheyenne, both because I absolutely love the theming. NPB is just so grown up and elegant and I love the colours inside the hotel. Cheyenne is just fun, you can't fail to be impressed by the Western detailing, it's a fabulous design and co-incidently they were both developed by the same Architect. :)

Whenever I go there are only 2 hotels I consider the Disneyland hotel or the Cheyenne. In all honesty, i'd rather stay in the Cheyenne than NPB, SL or HNY. The theme is awesome for a budget hotel.

Davys Has to be the best! Nice warm room:hippie: , seprate bedrooms for tha kids;) Luverly brekkie sweet adorable ponies! And lush swimming pool and delish resturant Who would want more?:confused3
