Which resort for just the 2 of us in Feb?

I kind of hate these polls, but it is election day!

DW and I are going, without the kids, this February. Let me know what you think about your choice. Maybe some pointers on making it a bit more romantic and relaxing. We won't have a car and we love WDW transport so that isn't an issue.

I haven't included the resorts we have stayed because we would like to try a new resort every time we visit...variety, the spice of life!

We stayed at the GF last September and it was very nice. The resort was relaxing and the cast members were friendly. It was convenient to be only one stop away from the MK on the monorail and take the boat launch back. However, we really missed the Contemporary. We love being able to walk to the MK in the morning and take the monorail back. The atmosphere is fun and the concourse area is great. If you are going without kids and want romantic and quiet, I guess I would go with the GF. Have fun where ever you decide to stay!

was for YC/BC. It's our favorite - we've tried other deluxe resorts and we've concluded that there is no other place for us. We don't have kids and we find it to be very romantic. Love strolling around the boardwalk or renting a surry. There are dining options galore! You're a quick walk to World Showcase, which, is very romantic. We love the convenience and we love Stormalong Bay (we're still kids at heart!). We've had only top notch experiences with the cast members. Never a problem, nothing but perfection. And, I think all the rooms have been refurbished.

Have fun whereever you choose.

I voted for the Grand Floridian. I have never stayed there but will be there for the first time next weekend just my boyfriend and I. I love this resort just from visiting it. It seems so romantic. I think almost any of the deluxes would be nice it just depends on your style. I can't wait to stay here and will let you know how it is and what we did while we were there.. It just seems a little quiter than the epcot resort areas although there is much more to do in the epcot resort area so depending on what you are looking for that could be nice too. Although you can just use Disney transportion to visit any of the areas you want. You will have a wonderful trip no matter where you stay!!

WL because it's so cozy during the Winter months, and I prefer the small size, beautiful views, and relaxing atmosphere. Epcot resorts are awesome, too. However, they just seem busier IMO. Wherever you stay, it'll be great since it's just the 2 of you!

I would have to vote for the Polynesian. I stayed there on my last trip and it was FANTASTIC!

My second would be the Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks for all the input! I like the idea of walking to the WS, that's one of our favorite places. I also like being able to sit and relax at the WL. Are there any nice quiet ares to sit at the WL that are outside?
