I'm guessing that at most resorts the max. people to a room is 4. Can someone list the resorts that can accomodate a family of 6?

Thank you :sunny:

You might want to consider 2 rooms at a value or moderate to fit 6. Here is a list of what Disney offers for 6 or more...

Beach Club Villas (4-8)
BoardWalk Villas (4-12)
Fort Wilderness Cabins and Homes (6)
Fort Wilderness Campsites (10)
Old Key West (4-12)
Saratoga Springs (4-12)
Wilderness Lodge Villas (4-8)

You can get a cabin at Fort Wilderness or a 2 bedroom Villa at Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Beach Club, Boardwalk, or Wilderness Lodge. All of the other deluxe hotels can only accommodate 5. The moderates and values accommodate 4, with the exception of Port Orleans Riverside, which is a moderate that has some rooms with a trundle bed if the 5th person is a small child. You may want to consider 2 connecting rooms...then all of the resorts would be open to you.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I think one of those resorts has a clown pool. One of my DS has a HUGE fear of anything clown related. Does anyone know which one it is?

if one member of your party is 3 or under - then you can go with a resort that sleep 5.

if everyone in your party is 3 or over - then sorry.

lots of people in your situation go offsite just because Disney can be so expensive for your group.

you can rent points from a DVC member for the DVC resort on save some money. OKW has a new slide - it is shaped like a sand castle. It is definitely the less. FW cabins are generally the less price wise if you are going through WDW.

there are rumors that in a few years the part that WDW did not open or completely develop at Pop Century - might (and I say might) become like the Holiday Inn Family Suites. but again this is just a rumor - even if Disney decided to do this it would take a couple of years to make it happen.

I was going to tell you about the deluxe rooms at Boardwalk - but I see that is out due to the clown pool...

There is a deluxe room at Wilderness Lodge that has 2 queen beds in a bedroom, and french doors separating it from a sitting room with a sofa bed. That room sleeps 6.

Good luck! I know it is tough with a large family.

two rooms at a value or mod might be the way to go... probably the least expensive and you get an extra tv and an extra bathroom!
