Which Resort for 5 yo in Dec?

Am looking for some expert opinions. It will be me, DH and DS 5 yrs.

We would like to stay at one of the Universal properties for 3 nights in Early Dec. The first part of the trip at Disney.

Which hotel would you recommend for us? We will be at Universal Parks for 2 or 3 Days, but with the parks closing earlier in Dec, we will be spending time at the hotel.


The thirty-something in me would like to try the Hard Rock, but I keep thinking that maybe there is a better atmosphere for our little guy at one of the other places.

Our kids all liked the Hard Rock. I think that your son will be happy where ever you decide and they are all nice hotels. Keep in mind that you can visit the other resorts and even swim in their pools if the weather is warm enough.

We are trying the RPR as it seems more relaxed and u can pool hop so our kids are happy

They all have great pools (from what I've seen - haven't seen RPR yet except in pictures) I think he'd like any of them - choose the one that fits your budget and that you and hubby would like. I loved HRH when we were there and I'm not a huge rock n roll fan - a nice hotel is a nice hotel!
