Last time we were at the World we could not find a radio station we liked,

Can anyone share what they normally tune in to in their hire cars. Ideally it would be something with current music or Disney tunes and some local news and traffic updates,

Would be grateful for any suggestions to stop all that infuriating knob twiddling from hubbie!! :furious:

Not sure about current or Disney, but we always listen to: WHTQ Best thing about it is the John Boy and Billy show in the morning John Boy and Billy
Boss

Takes us a couple of days to get the right station, Disney, i always forget the station number and i have to check on the TV for the correct one.

We always listen to XL 106.7. The Doc & Johnny show in the morning is hilarious :)

I have no idea what station it was but it was a Country music one and there was this one song called "Mr Mom" by Lonestar that we ended up knowing all the words too and I now have it downloaded on to my PC as it always reminds us of our holiday.

We loved 101.5 The Point, a Tampa station, plays lots of 70's, 80's and early 90's stuff. I listen to it online too at work :teeth:

I love American radio as it plays "real" music, i.e. that played with guitars, drums and (dare I say it?), er ... testosterone? Their rock stations are superb and just the thing to sing to in the sunshine. When your 3 children are singing along to Van Halen / Whitesnake / Led Zepplin it's a great feeling. :)

Rock on!

Another vote for WHTQ Classic Rock, 96.5FM. Johnboy and Billy are the kings of the morning show without a doubt. When we go on one of our customary jaunts to West Palm Beach we tune into 98.7, The Gater Classic Rock. The Bob And Tom show there is almost as good as JB & B. Both stations are available on the web.

Quite a few of the stations love British MOR type stuff, Phil Collins, Elton John are always very popular.

We listen to 103.5 Tampa bays best country music :teeth: We don't usually listen to country but when were over there this music is great for singing along too. We have a laugh listening to it :)

Thanks for the links. I've just put magic on! How exciting. If it was a bit hotter and with a few more mice around i could be in disney :sunny:

When we were there last Christmas, we listened to the "Rose" as it was continuous Christmas music - fantastic.

Magic FM! I tune in as soon as we get into the hire car at MCO. I listen online now and again but not too often as it makes me 'homesick' particularly like the morning show with Chad & Kristie :)
