I'm staying on site, and after reading another thread I started to think which ques are worth going through once, before using the front of line pass?

Well Dragon Challenge has a awesome queue, as does Forbidden Journey. Off the top of my head, those are the only decent ones worth checking out...

i Don't know about Dragon Challenge. After the Express split in the "tent", the only interesting thing in the queue is one small room you go thru with the suspended candles. After that it's a bunch of winding fake caves that never seem to end (and can get a bit stuffy at times).

The Mummy can be interesting. The Express line ends up bypassing most of the cool "dig site" scenery and brings you up to a seperate load area. (other side of the car from the rest of the lines). You may want to single-rider this line if you don't mind being split up just so you can see the cool statue and stuff by the stairs without the long wait.

I'm a sucker for ET. Always loved the interesting "show" in the inside Queue area with the speak and spell, rustling as people run thru the forest, and of course, the alien who comes up and asks for your help. (use the express to get into the building, but after the passport, you can check out the main line).

Dr. Doom's Tower you bypass all the internal Latvian Embassy stuff with the express.

Spiderman takes you thru a different section of the newsroom than the express lane (but you still get themeing).

And I think that pretty much covers most of them.

HAd no idea about the ET Line! Will try this, as I'm a fan of ET too.

It's very easy to miss.... especcially since these days you seldom have much of a wait once you are past getting your passport. I remember being stuck in the inside queue for ages back in the day, but it just doesn't seem to back up anymore inside.

that being said, I don't think there is any reason you can't just stand around enjoy the atmosphere inside. If nothing more, the wonderful pine smell is still one of the coolest things about being in there. :)

i stay onsite and go to the parks early.

the rides i go thru the regular lines are for:
Mummy
MIB
ET
Dr. Doom
Hulk
Spiderman

i hit them once as long as the line is 15 minutes and under before i start using the express lines.

I do stay onsite and hit the parks for 8 days so i can hit the above rides going thru the regular queues.

The queues I like are: Revenge of the Mummy, Spiderman and E.T. I haven't been on Dragon Challenge since the change from Dueling Dragons but DD used to have best queue of a coaster anywhere. I've heard it's not as good now.

Too bad about DD. I should have gotten there before the changes.:confused3

thanks for the advice. sounds like I'll do mummy, ET and Dr. doom at the very least.

and, because we WILL be there at rope drop (from RPR), and making our way quickly to FJ , I hope to be moving fast enough to miss the detail of the FJ que- so we may go through it again.
(BTW what is the fastest route to FJ? on the map it looks like going in from citywalk, right at Confisco grill (or can I go through by The Cat in the Hat?), going around the Seuss tent, then through Poseidon's fury (under the arm/ trident), through the village gate, to the left, then left to and under the bridge of Hogwarts?) (OK I'm a little neurotic:eek:)

The nice thing about FJ is the Castle Tour line. Even if you go thru quickly in the regular line (or single rider....there is no express currently) you can do the castle tour where you can actually still go thru much of the castle and enjoy the details you may not have had the time to enjoy while waiting for the ride in line.

To get there, Just go thru Seussland through the remainder of the lost continent..... assuming it's not so crowded that they route you up thru the Jurrasic Park side/entrance.

you can take the 'shortcut' by green eggs and ham rather than walk around the carousel

turn left when you see green eggs and ham.
it will curve to the right and that leads you to the main path others will be taking.
