Which Preferred loops have more space?

Is there a preferred loop that has more space to make for easier backing into the site? Is 300 the only doggy loop that's preferred? If it is, is it fairly roomy?

Thanks, everyone.

300 isn't the only preferred doggy loop, but I'm not exactly sure what the others are. We stayed in loop 300 in Feb and loved it! In my opinion the sites themselves were roomy (we had site 327 and loved it!), but it was a little hard backing in. The people across from us had a big pickup, so it was tough, but not impossible, backing in and trying to avoid hitting that and the trees. The road going through the loop seemed a bit narrow to me.

That's what I'm concerned about, it seems like 100 is even more tight than 300. In that RV show where the family rented an RV they had a class A in a site on a loop that seemed much more roomy than the 100-300 loops.

Thanks for the info.

I requested 300 loop and nobody mentioned it is a "doggy loop." What does "doggy loop" mean? TIA:confused3

Thank you. I thought I had read everything there is to read Disney-wise but I was wrong. Where can I find info on campsites that spells out rules re pets? Maybe DH might consider bringing ours. Thanks again.

I was in loop 700 when I was there in Dec 2003, the picture in my sig was taken then. All of the sites seemed fairly spacious. I have a 32' 5th wheel and a F350 CrewCab long bed. I noted a number of 40' motorhomes in that loop.

The 700 loop is preferred and pet?

I just got back and was in 542 which is a preferred, pet overflow loop. My site was right on the curve so I turned the corner and backed in. :woohoo:This loop had many big coaches and fifth wheels but I did see a couple of lots that may have been trouble for me to get into.

300 and 500 are pet loops. I have stayed in both. We have a Class A 40' all sites in all loops can be tricky to back into it just takes some manuerving especially if cars are parked in fron of their rig. You can back into all sites just some take more manuerving then others.

I enjoy seeing photos of the sites people have occupied. Very helpful.;) Nice to actually see what size and location they are, and compare them to your own RV and what it's requirements might be. Thanks.

Here are a couple of large pictures from our site in the 700 loop in 2003. Click on the thumbnail for a big pic.

Wow...that looks like a nice sized site.:thumbsup2 You had quite a bit of room under and in front of the awning. Looks like you have a slide out also. Were you happy with the size and location of the site? Thanks for sharing those. ;)

Thank you guys so much for posting your pictures and answering about the pet pref. loops. They eased my mind a lot and I showed them to my Dad and he was also relieved to see the spacious sites in the 500 and 700 loops, decided if they can park their rig in the space next to their house, they should be OK on those loops.

The pictures were so helpful I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread that was just for pictures of sites to help people out who are going to Fort Wilderness. Do you mind posting them again to this thread http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=18095901#post18095901? I'll have to see if I can find the picture of our tent set up at the 200 loop and get it scanned, too.
