Who Has Stayed In Both French Quaters And Riverside And Can Tell Me Which One You Prefer And Why?
I Would Also Like Know If One Is Better As Far As For My Children To Enjoy On Days We May Want To Stay Around The Hotel.
Dd18,dd16,ds15,dd13, And Dd10.
We Were All Set To Stay At Caribbean Beach But The Pools Will Be Closed If We Go When We Are Planning For.
Any Help In This Area Will Be Great.
Pitures Of Your Stay Would Be Awsome Also.
Thanks

Subscribing. We're in a similar boat but with smaller kiddos. Very interested to hear what people say.

We have only stayed at POFQ (5 times) but I will tell you what we loved about it. Our first stay was right after it was renovated. The rooms are nicely decorated and the size is fine for us (we are a family of 4). We even get a roll-away for one of our boys to sleep on. They love the pool, food court, and the fact that when they want to go to DD they can take the boat and my husband and I can stay at the resort and rest. The resort is small and cuts down on a lot of walking after a long day at the park. You can also use POR for their sit down restaurant, boats, and pool. Our next stay in September is going to be at POR. I am excited to try a different resort. We love the look of POR even though it is a bigger resort. As stated above you will probably have to stay at POR because of the size of your family. Have fun.

We've stayed at both. To me, POR is better than POFQ by a long way. For children, there are many activities. You would be closer to Ole' Man's Island, the awesome pool, the marina, the bike rentals, fishing, etc. There are two places to eat and Boatrights is great. The mansions are beautiful and the surroundings are kept up nicely. Comparing the look of the mansions to POFQ, the mansions just look better, not so run down looking. I know the POFQ is made to look that way, but I just prefer all the doors to be the same color. We had a great time at POFQ but it was just nothing like staying at POR!!!

Have a great time!!!

That is so funny you even asked that question.:rotfl:
Its a running joke in my family that we didn't have a tv for a few years.
I love having a big family though, it can get alittle pricey but other then that its awsome.

I have stayed at both, and although I ADORE Riverside , my kids prefered the FQ. They felt the pool was more fun and I will admit it's much closer to the food court than Riversides. It was real convenient to grab drinks and food and take them to the pool area.......however, Riverside has got quiet pools to go hang out at if the main pool is too noisy or crowded........:goodvibes I can't decide, I just love both places!!!

I've also stayed at both. They're both awesome but my family far and away prefers POFQ! It is a beautiful resort and everything is so close. We had about a 10 minute walk from our room to the food court at POR and maybe a minute and a half from our room at POFQ! The lobby, food court, boat dock, bus stop, and pool [even though it was closed during our stay] were all just steps from our room. Good luck with your decision!:goodvibes
