Myself, my mother (72) and my two daughters 10 and 14 are taking a girls only trip in Feb. Mom has not been since 1978. Mom is a big Pooh fan. Which character breakfast is better --- Crystal Palace (it will be open and newly renovated by then) or 1900 Park Fare. We are staying at AKL. I anticipate doing MK the day of this meal.

Thanks Renee

If it's open, DEFINATLY Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom! She'll love all the pooh characters there!

I have never been to Crystal Palace. What is the decor like?

Well, we enjoyed the Pooh breakfast at 1900 Park Faire. The surroundings were beautiful, and the food was fabulous!!! I have a 75 year old mother and if I were choosing...it would be this location.

I have a few photos from our breakfast uploaded to an online album if you'd like to take a look...

Great pictures -- thanks

Does Eyeore make an appearance at 1900 or just CP?

My mom is 72 and she has been to both CP and 1900 Park Fare. She liked them both very much. She slightly preferred 1900 Park Fare because it was a little more laid back and she liked the music. It didn't seem as "busy" around the buffet to her. But I've been to both 3 or 4 times and that can change from day to day. IMHO, you can't go wrong with either one!:D

Park Fare would be my choice for both Pooh characters and entire atmosphere...and food! But, you certainly won't go wrong at Crystal Palace. Enjoy!!

I went to the 1900 Park Fare Breakfast Buffet last Wednesday and I would definetly reccomend this one!

Although we did not see Eeyore walking around we saw Pooh several times along with Piglet, Alice in WOnderland, Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter. The food and service were great and it was very laid back and quiet.

Overall it was a great birthday breakfast for my boyfriend although he was a lil embarassed when they sang to him!!;)

Haven't done Park Faire but loved the Crystal Palace and doing the little napkin-waving dance. The big plus about going to CP is that if your reservations are before 9am, you get in the park early and can get great castle pictures with almost nobody in them. Plus, if you have reservations early enough, you can be the first into Fantasyland and see and do all that it offers before it becomes a bottle-necked strollerville.:p

How does the food compare between the Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare? In which restaurant is it easier to get a PS?

Tara -- I was leaning toward CP for that exact reason. It seem that both are wonderful. I think Mom may enjoy the empty park pictures. We also won't be stuck in the rush to get into the park.

What time should I make my PS for?

Renee
