Which Plan is the Best Plan

It really depends on how you and your family eats. Deluxe *could* save you the most money, but only if you spend the whole trip trying to maximize it's value. Honestly I think OOP is a better deal 99% of the time, the exception being when it's free, and even then it's not always the best deal.

I usually get the DDP but I haven't been to Disney since '08 and I know there has been some changes to the plans so I was wondering what is the best plan for a family of four, the children are 16 and 12. Thank you

IMO, the best plan for your 4 "Disney Adults" is no plan at all. If your kids were younger and you were doing a lot of Character meals, the DDP would work better for you. Another thing to consider is how much your kids will eat. Most non-buffet restaurants will allow kids (and adults) to order off the kids menus. My DD ate off the kids menu when she was 12 and I would have been upset having to pay for her as an adult whens he was really eating like a kid.
