Ok I've made an appointment for my DD4 at BBB and did the Crown Pkg for $45 and now I'm wondering if I should have done the big pkg (can't remember the name) w/the costume and pictures. My DD has a princess costume she could wear (if she doesn't outgrow it by the time we go in May 07) but I'm wondering if she'll feel left out if most of the other girls are picking out their new costumes.

Not sure why I'm torturing myself like this. I thought we could always shop at the Disney Store prior to her appointment and get her a new costume if we need to. I also want to try and keep it simple and fair as I have a DD2 (at time of tvl) and DS7. What have you folks done? Thanks as always for any advice.

My girls did the "coach" package in July. They have tons of costumes already. We were having dinner at 1900 Park Fare so I just put their Cinderella costumes on before they started. I would say it was about 50/50 of kids with and kids without costumes. I've already bought so many costumes at the WOD store that I didn't feel we needed to buy another one at BBB. My girls were so excited to get their hair and nails done that they didn't care. They got the princess hair and I asked them to go easy on the make-up. It was a great experience for the girls. Have fun.

I would have DS7 do the Cool Dude to keep him busy whileDD is getting done.

When DD13 was getting done for her MNSSHP costume there was a good mix of young and old ,men and ladies as well as kids galore.

They will be so busy getting fused over that they won't even notice whats going on around her.

DD has done the crown package twice and loved it. She always wears her own costume since she has all of them! She has never even noticed the few kids that go into the changing room with their costumes. There are not that many that get the big package so I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Thanks for all the advice. I wasn't worried at all about it until after I made my appointment. But now I feel better. I guess my back up plan will be if she does outgrow her princess dress by May or I can't get the milk out that she just spilled on her dress we'll arrive to BBB early and buy her a costume to wear. Thanks again.

We did the Crown package in October. My dd wore her Jasmine costume, and she fit right in. There were a couple girls there who had obviously gotten the big package, but most girls were in their own costumes or just pretty dresses. My dd didn't realize that there was more that we could have done....really! If you already have a pretty princess dress, than I wouldn't switch. Yes, the dresses are beautiful, but dd was just as happy with her e-bay costume:-).

My DD also wore her own Cinderella dress in. She did the hair and nail package. She had a fantastic time and has asked to do it again. While yes some girls were getting the costume plus hair and make-up I don't think DD or any of the other girls who didn't felt left out at all. DD was having alot of fun getting herself "done" :)

I'm doing the Crown package for DD6 in 2 weeks. We already have a bunch of costumes, and I just bought 2 more after Halloween from Disney on-line. I just can't justify spending more than $100 more to get yet another costume (she already has Cinderella, Belle and Aurora at home). I will bring along her costumes and let her choose that morning which one she wants to wear to the appointment.
