If you could only visit 2 of the parks with your 2 and 5 yr old boys which would you choose? and why?

TIA :)
Chris

MK of course. The rides and the characters there would be a major attraction for them.

I would also choose AK, what boys that age wouldn't enjoy seeing the animals?

Obviously MK... that's a no-brainer.

My 6 year old LOVED LOVED LOVED Epcot. He was three his first time, five his last time and is DYING to go back. (Which we do in 8 days!) :cheer2:

Test track, Soarin', Imagination, the fun fountains, Spaceship Earth, the Aquarium, Innoventions... these were some of his favorites.

HAVE FUN!

Magic Kingdom, and I'm a fan of Animal Kingdom!
The Lion King show is fun for all ages.
KSafaris is fun for littler ones to see the animals...
you have the paths in Africa and Asia to see more animals and wander along at your own pace.
You have the Boneyard to play in (oversized playground) and sand to dig in.
There aren't that many rides littler ones can go on, but you have Triceratop Spin in Dinoland.
The parade is great for littler ones...very lively and colorful!
MK you will get all your rides in, but Animal Kingdom you can really do more at your own pace, instead of many scheduled attractions you find at
MGM and even Epcot. (Not that they aren't great...but those would be my two choices.)

MK and AK no doubt. There are many more age-appropriate areas in AK than EPCOT and MGM. Add those 2 parks later when a choice isn't so critical. :cool1:

I wouldn't make any decision based upon the two year old. He's just along for the ride. With no perspective, he won't be disappointed where ever he goes.

I agree with those that say AK. I would also add that if the 5y.o. likes tv and movies, he'll have a great time at MGM. And he'll love Fantasmic a million times more than Wishes.

I agree that the 2 year old will go along for the ride. If you haven't been there before, I would just do MK for two days so that you can get everything in and enjoy it. If you really, really want to do two parks, my 7,5 and 5 year old boys love Epcot. They loved test track, soarin, Spaceship Earth, Journey into your imagination and Living with the Land. They are really into video games and loved Innovations. It took us all day to get out of future world.

i can't believe I'm the only one to say MK and Disney-MGM Studios. I went last May with a 5 year old and 2 year old. Obviously, MK is a no-brainer, as has already been said.

I thought MGM was great for my 2 year old. Beauty and the Beast, Muppet Vision 3D, Playhouse Disney Live!, Voyage of the Little Mermaid -- my 2 year old loved all of these, as did my 5 year old. My five year old ALSO loved Star Tours. We didn't see any of the shows (Fantasmic, Lights Motor Action) but I'll bet both would have loved them.

As for AK, well, I'm not putting it down, but at least for my two-year-old, I'm not sure she got anything out of it that she doesn't get from the zoos we frequent. Well, she did enjoy Festival of the Lion King, at least before she fell asleep inside. And we didn't go see ITTBAB, so I can't comment on that.
My 5 year old says he enjoyed Dinosaur!, but it also scared him a little, too.

As for Epcot, I can't recall anything she really loved there. MAYBE Journey into Imagination. But as for my 5 year old, I must admit that Test Track was his favorite ride/attraction outside MK. Neither of them seemed to enjoy Turtle Talk with Crush, but I admit that it was one of MY favorite attractions -- the visual technology and the human improv skills, in combination, were outstanding.
