Which park would you start with?

We are flying in from California, and won't be arriving in Orlando until late afternoon/ early evening. We have two kids, ages 5 and 14 months (at the time of our trip in October). We will be staying at YC.

Our first day at the parks is an EMH am (Thursday) for MK. However, I don't think we'll be awake on time to benefit from it, with the time difference going from the west to the east coast.

Factoring in jetlag, F&W crowds over the weekend, EMH and the need for afternoon naps (our youngest), would you recommend spending the first (1/2) day in EP or MK?

Would like to figure this out now, since we're almost at our 180 days, and I don't want to waste too much time trekking back and forth across the World for ADRs with two young children. We will have PH, so can go to a different park after naptime.

We always start at MK. Magic Kingdom is Disney World and the parade and fireworks are so worth starting our trip out with.

we'll be getting into WDW property around noonish, so stay at the resort first (All Star Sports), then head over to EPCOT after 4pm - close. Biergarten for lunch/dinner is ALWAYS first on our list. First full day is always MK.
