So, I've never been to WDW in October. To add to that it is over Columbus day weekend so it could be a bit crowded I'd guess. What do these crowds compare to that I have experienced--I've been over Feb. break, Easter, July 4th and all of the month of July?
Now question #2 Whick park on whick days?
Here's what I have on the agenda:
Saturday arrive at 9:30 pm--not getting anything done that night
Sunday all day
Monday all day
Tuesday all day at MK and then stay for the Halloween party
Wednesday flight leaves at 11:30 am so nothing here.

MK is taken care of, now I have to do Epcot it is F&W and we've never been before so it is a must--which of those days would be better Sunday or Monday?
Finally, I figure they will want to ride EE at AK, so head over in the am then hop over to MGM for the rest of the day.

Suggestions would be appreciated!
TIA
Sally

We go that week alot the crowds are low expecialy compaired to July. It is a perfect time of year. As far as what day well try and plan the Epcot day on a good weather forcast for the fire works. As for the crowds in each park they are about the same. You won't have any problems managing the crowds since you know how to deal with July. Have a great time.

we are going that same week but we get in on Sunday morning, I was hoping to go to spectromagic parade that night in MK. is this crazy? and Monday doing Epcot. After that I am not sure. Thinking about MK either Tuesday or Wedensday all day because they are open later those 2 days. And doing another park on Thursday during the day and going to the MNSSHP That night. But still unsure if this is all going to work out. So MGM and AK are left and I am not sure what days to do that? This is our first trip to DWD. So I really don't know what to expect.

Tuesday the 10th there is a MNSSHP, so we're going to do the MK that whole day since that is when I bought our tickets for it.

Scraper, thanks so long as it isn't July 4th like I won't have any difficulty getting around. I just wanted to know what to prime the kids for so they knew in advance what they could and could not plan to accomplish.

You have two choices- go to the food and Wine on Sunday (weekend tend to be a little more crowded with locals but Monday could be just as bad, although the last few Sundays we have been at Epcot have been empty) and then go to the morning EMH at AK and the evening AMH at MGM on Monday, the morning EMH are great and if you only want to go on EE and maybe 1 or 2 other rides you would be at MGM by 9:30 and have the day ahead of you there- even if the evening EMH is crowded you will have plenty of time to see most of what you want.

Your other option is avoiding the EMH by exchaning thse days- except for the evening EMH I have found they are worth my time and if you do everything you want during the day it wont matter if the evening hours are more crowded.

Excellent, rlovew, that was just the info. I was looking for. Now I shall plan a wonderful three days in the parks with that info in mind. Why did I forget to check the EMH's? I guess I just got so excited that I was going to be able to go that I forgot all the stuff I usually check into for a big vacation. Thanks!
