Which Park on Which Day?

DS 11 and I will be at DLR on Monday February 21 (President's Day) and Tuesday, February 22. I am also considering purchasing park tickets for Sunday evening - we could be at the park about 8:00pm.

Based on what I have read on this board, I can expect longer park hours on Sunday and Monday (maybe until 11:00pm) and then shorter hours on Tuesday, most likely an 8:00pm close.

I had thought we might purchase the Fantasmic dessert package/fireworks one night and spend the other two evenings taking advantage of shorter lines during the evening shows. Will that work on an early close night or are the shows the very last event (all attractions closed)?

Since it will be our first visit and we will want to do all we can, I do not think we will hop as there is so much to do/see/experience in each park. But if the situation presents itself, we will.

Based on all of your DLR expertise, which park should we plan for on which day?

Which night would be best for the Fantasmic dessert package/fireworks?

Honestly I would get a 3 day PH.

If you just want a park today. Don't base it on which is crowded. Go to DL on Monday because the hours are longer and there are more attractions to see. DCA on Tuesday because the hours are shorter and there is less attractions. Still to make the day count get there at open and leave at close since the quietest hours are always the very start and finish of a day.

With a PH you can go to DL for the first couple hours grab a few FPs. Then go to DCA for it's opening and do the same there. At night you can finish each park at it's close.


There may not be a F! on Tuesday, so Monday may be your only option. If you also go Sunday, it won't matter which day when you do the dessert package, you will have your seat reserved for you.
