which park New Years Day?

Hi folks - My husband and I arrive on Jan. 1st mid-day, and were planning to go to MK that day...until I read that that is a very busy day. So, will we be better off at another park, or are they all going to be equally busy?

On holidays the MK is always the most crowded, but I would guess everything will be busy, maybe try AK or MGM first and see if it's manageable. If you are staying onsite try this: Make a dining reservation at your favorite MGM restaurant or your second choice ASAP for around 2:30PM. As soon as you get to the park, see if there are any fast passes left for your favorite ride or your second choice. If you have any luck at all you can have a meal, people watch and maybe get to ride something fun. If not, try strolling and shopping at DD then head back to your resort and rest up, looks like the MK has extra magic Hours from 11PM till 1AM!
