Which park first?

We will be checking in to HRH around noon on Tuesday 8/31. Which park should we go to first? I assume we will not hop that day. I have only been to Universal (many years ago - so I consider myself a newbie).

I would go to Universal since it is a short walk. How long is your stay?

We will only be there for 2 days. We have the two day two park ticket.

I was going to say do Universal, but if you are there for just two days including your arrival date, do IOA first. Depending on if you are a big ride fan, you can do this with the FOTL and hit all the rides at IOA before closing with time to hit some again. Universal tends to take longer to go through, I think, as it is more shows and toured rides, and the attractions take longer to complete.

If you enjoy thrill rides or have teenagers I would go to IOA first. Since your staying on site and have FOTL access you should be able to do all the rides in both parks in 2 days. It is sooo worth the extra money to stay on-site at Universal. Hope you have a great time!
