Which resort would you choose of these two for a family of 3 ladies
Choice is....... Movies preferred room v Coronado standard room?

Coronado would get my vote. CSR is like a mini deluxe in a lot of ways. Great dining options (if your trip is soon study up on what is open since some things are limited), bit of an upscale vibe. It’s a big resort but not unbearably so. It’s a great resort to come back to at the end of a typical busy Disney day.

Definitely Coronado Spring - especially the tower.

We were just there in Dec. Much more of a deluxe feel. There is a difference between the standard rooms and the tower rooms. We prefer the tower. Standard tower and waterview tower are identical in size. While waterview is nice, I wouldn't spend more for it. Did that one year. No balconies. The standard rooms are nice in size and recently (with a few years) redone. They still have carpet on the floors, though, instead of the wood like flooring in the tower. For three adults I would definitely say Coronado.

We enjoyed the bar tender at Rix. Didn't use Disney transportation often as it took too long with the restriction on numbers. We did Lyft everywhere. Just planned for the expense. Really was not bad. We enjoyed the bar in the middle of the Lagoon, too. The bar upstairs, especially on the patio has an amazing view.

This resort has a much more upscale feel. There will be less children than here - especially in the tower. They didn't have all the sections open when we were there so being preferred if you don't stay in the tower unless they have opened everything up.
