DH and I are getting the dd. We will be there for 7 nights and we have 8 table services pick out which means we are going to have to pay cash for one of them. Which one do you think will be the less expense option to pay cash for?

Sci Fi Dine In
Boma
San Angel Inn
Liberty Tree Tavern
Whispering Canyon
Ohana
Rose/Crown
Kona (mmm Tonga toast)

We are also going to T-Rex on the day we leave, but will be sharing a burger so we are going to pay cash for that option too unless you see a better pick?

Kona Cafe

Boma also tends to be fairly inexpensive for breakfast.
In general, you want to pay OOP for your least expensive meal.

When we had the same issue, we ended up canceling our ADR on our last day, because we had leftover counter service credits, which solved our problem of paying for a meal out of pocket.

Typically breakfasts are the least expensive so I would say Kona Cafe. Besides the Tonga toast the Pineapple Macadamia Pancakes are also great.

You can look at the menus on allears, wdwinfo (link is at the top of the dining page) and Disney's dining reservation page to see what you might be ordering and figure out from that.

I would do Sci-Fi for cash but you might want to look at the menus, decide what you'll eat and then you can determine what would be most cost efficient. :thumbsup2

I would choose Kona. On most the others you are getting entree and desert but you don't get the desert at breakfast anyway so you wouldn't miss it. I think it will be cheaper anyhow and the meals are so big (even Tonga Toast...esp Tonga Toast lol) it would be easy to split one or 2 between you!

We've been having the same discussion at our house today. We'll pay OOP for breakfast at Kona and use DDP for the more expensive dinners.

All the options are dinners except Kona. So after looking at the menus for me at least (like you suggested :thumbsup2) it appears Kona is the cheapest. Dh never knows what he wants till he gets there.

If you can manage it (depending on the size of the meal), there's also a possibility to share a TS meal and use only 1 credit. Do that twice and you'll have an extra credit to use for each of you :thumbsup2

If it's Tonga toast you want, you can get it even cheaper, or with a QS credit, at Captain Cooks. (Served slightly differently, without the strawberry compote and the bacon side.)

Definately Kona. Breakfast doe not come with a dessert entitlement, so in addition to being the cheapest, you also don't miss out on a yummy dessert if you do sci-fi.
