Which One: San Angel Inn/Mexico OR Coral Reef ???

Been to both places, coral reef twice, San Angel once. The first time at Coral Reef, I loved it. 2nd time was only ok. San Angel was delicious when we went. That was May 2010. I heard that they changed some things before that because of bad reviews. So i don't know if the bad reviews here are form people that have eaten there in the last year or 2. We're going to both again next month and I am more excited to go to San Angel than Coral Reef. I'd give San Angel 8 out of 10, Coral Reef 7 out of 10, taking both trips into account.

Apparently my DH and I missed those changes..or they reverted back. :sad1:

I had THE WORST experience ever there. I wish I was exaggerating. Trust me, I have bad experiences at a lot of restaurants (It's like my curse)...and I promise I don't do anything but sit and order...lol I'm not mean or anything. But seriously this place was BAD. The worst waiter I've ever had and disgusting dry chicken. BLEH!:confused3

Well, if you aren't locked into eating at Epcot, and wouldn't mind a walk, I LOVE Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. You can walk there from Epcot.
I would choose the Coral Reef over the other one, if those are really the only 2 that you are choosing from.
Good luck! I just booked all of our meals for our July trip! It's quite a task! I think sometimes the resort restaurants are overlooked...

I guess we are just weird, but we REALLY enjoyed San Angel Inn.... No it is not your typical "tex-mex" mexican food that you find everywhere, but that is not what we were looking for. I also LOVE that you can order the yummy margaritas from the bar even though they are not on the restaurant menu.

We ate at SAI during our trip last June. We didn't make an ADR for there last month because we wanted to try some new places. Dh still ranks it 3rd best out of all of the places we have eaten.... right behind Chefs de France and Cali Grill.

I have never eaten at Coral, so I cannot comment on it.
