I'm guessing he got a boat into bay lake and that's what gave him away. I doubt anyone would have noticed him otherwise. Especially with everything shut down. It is kind of funny he had been there for several days.

I know the one fella that snuck out there in their video swam out. But there was a couple of them and of course Disney was open at that time. Small kayak ? Story never mentioned how he got there.

I am willing to bet Teamubr's truck that there are closed circuit cameras and/or motion detectors on DI. If somebody is walking around there, it won't be long till the Popo know about it.

Matt Somswa on youtube released a video of him talking about his escape on Discovery Island. From what I can tell, there are no cameras or motion detectors on the island or they would have found him. He got caught leaving the island on a raft.

Lol. One of my first camping trips in boy scouts was on the great lakes. We boated out to an island to camp over night. When we saw the island we named it bird s&%@t island. It was the worst experiance ever.

Snakes (actually was a snake show - which I did not attend), alligators, and other critters - I was afraid they would be around even when the island was 'inhabited' and open, and we used to tromp the trails!! Now? No way!! He had to be nuttier than a fruit cake!!
