Which one for a one day visit? Universal or IOA?

I went once to Universal back in 1990 and haven't been back. We're taking a non-Disney trip to Orlando in November, and were thinking about spending one day at one of the two parks. My girls are 9 and aren't afraid of anything, but probably are only around 50" or so. They won't make anything 52" for sure.

What do you think? Which one would be better for us?

At that height they'll miss out on hulk and the dragons at IOA, nothing at US I think.
In my opinion I'd still opt for IOA though it's a difficult one as they would enjoy both.

No chance of a two park ticket as the crowds would allow a (long) day at both?

Tough call...I also suggest consideration of a 1 day/2 park ticket to hit the highlights. If you prefer to stick with one, I'd go with IOA, even though the girls will miss the coasters.

I would definitely do Universal Studios first.
