which one, anaheim marriott or hyatt regency

I'd say whichever one comes up on Priceline. These have won bids on Priceline at rates of $37 - $40 for the Marriott and $45 for the Hyatt. See www.biddingfortravel.com for more information on Priceline. At these prices, I'm sure either of these hotels are wonderful. Just really wanted to suggest that if you're looking at hotels like this that you take a look at 3* hotels through Priceline. Some wonderful deals to be had there!

I have stayed at both and have my own bias opinion on them. I like the Marriott much better, was a bit closer to the park and had better service. Also, like the pool/spa area better. The Hyatt does have a better lobby though and cheaper parking. Marriott is 12 a day and Hyatt is 10 if I remember correctly. We went to the Hyatt 2 weeks ago and the water pressure was horrible and never seemed to get really hot. The Marriott always gets good reviews with us. Their shuttle doens't stop at any other hotels like the Hyatt does. Even with that said, I would be happy to get either with Priceline since you are getting such a deal. If I were to pay, I'd chose the Marriott, but if the price difference were huge I'd go with the Hyatt, I am also a on a budget!

I am planning on staying in a 2 bedroom king suite at the hyatt and requesting the north tower ( which is supposed to be new) did you stay there or were you in a different configuration?

I like the Mariott... but I have only stayed there. So I can't give you an unbiased opinion. In fact other than 3 times ( Once at the Firfield Inn, once at some place I can't rmember and once at the DLH) The Mariott is the only other place I have stayed maybe 7 or 8 times. It's nice there they just redid the roomas and entry and added a Starbucks last year.
