Which of these two Aladdin show areas would you choose?

Hi -

I am looking over my notes (we now have Aladdin PS's thanks to przeor!) and from what I read on previous threads, I chose these two areas to sit in the theater. (We haven't seen the show yet.)

Which would you choose?

1) Mezzanine front row (center if possible).

2) Floor - Rear orchestra center, 1st row.

I realize the carpet flies past you in the mezzanine, but is there any other reason for sitting there? Is it also a great view of the whole show or is it far away from the stage?

Thanks for helping us decide.

if you could get front row mezanine I think that would be the best seats you could get, personally, it is not too far from the stage at all.

We sat front row / center of the mezzanine & loved it.

& for those who don't have priority seating.......we didn't. There was a pretty good line (at least 200 people) when we arrived for Aladdin. I asked the CM who was at the entrance rope where the line for the mezzanine was. He pointed over to a line of 5 people. (Everyone else was in line for ground floor....I doubt they knew there was a mezzanine line)

When we walked up the stairs & were let into the theatre.....instead of following like sheep down the first set of stairs, we walked 2/3 of the way across the theatre, down the stairs to the "front row" & sat down front row center.

I mention this because even if you were say 20th (or 30th) in line for the mezzanine, by veering around the sheep (once you are inside the theatre at the top of the messanine) & walking past the first couple of stairs (leading down to the rows - it's like a wide movie theatre), we still could have secured 1rst (or second) row mezzanine.

Have fun. :thumbsup2

We've sat first row Mezzanine and about 10 rows back Mezzanine. When we were in the first row Mezzanine, we had Priority Seating, but instead of sitting in the orchestra section, chose to sit in the first row of the Mezzanine. It was wonderful there. It was nice when the parade of "animals" went by, they were right there, in our faces. All the actors accompanying the "animals" smiled right at us and waved, and were very close.

If we get Priority Seating again, whenever we go back, we may try for the orchestra pit, just for a different view. But we really liked the first row Mezzanine.

I don't know what it is called, but the seating in the first area behind the "orchestra" area - front row is a nice spot. There is a big aisle separating the first section and this next section. In the middle of the show, when Aladdin is pretending to be a King, he will come by on an Elephant? and Camels will come by as well and interact with the front row. You can also see the stage quite nicely from here with no heads in front of you. You will miss the flying carpets at eye level which is the only drawback, but you can see them better than the Orchestra section.

When you go in on the main floor, most people will converge to the right to get as close to front as possible and you need to head straight for this front row in the second section.

Is there anywhere to see a picture or map of the seating areas? We will be seeing the show for the 1st time on our upcoming trip and I'm curious to see how the theatre is laid out.
