I have a lot of fine dining restaurants for my upcoming birthday trip. I noticed for a lot of them my eye gravitates towards the Filet mignon (only type of steak I like) but I feel like if I order that every night for a week I'll be sick and sick of it. So which of the below restaurants is a steak a must and which should I try something different.
California Grill - I noticed they just changed their menu so it looks different for a lot of items. Is the seafood ramen good here?
Le Cellier - main reason for going is their filet so probably getting that.
Yachtsman Steakhouse - since this is a steakhouse I'm guessing ordering something besides a steak is silly?
Monsieur Paul - what else is good here besides the filet?
Flying Fish - I don't like actual fish but I do like scallops are they a good choice? The lobster pasta sounds good but is really expensive
A little information:
I'm not on the dining plan. I don't like any type of fish except lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Out of this whole list I've only been to California Grill before (had the filet and liked it)
Is this too much fine dining for one trip and I should change one? I'm going with my boyfriend and he's a big steak eater so I don't think he'd have an issue eating steak almost every night.
Any and all thoughts welcomed!
