We are having a hard time deciding which restaurant to choose at Epcot. We thought about going to the Yachtsman but then decided to not take the extra time leaving the park.
We would like to try one we have not been to before but I added Teppan Edo that is our favorite one we have been to several times. The other two we were thinking of is San Angel Inn and Coral Reef. We have not been to either of those.
Should we go to Teppan Edo again or try San Angel Inn or Coral Reef?

Personally I wouldn't choose any of these, I do like Chefs de France, Rose & Crown, Spice Road & Via Napoli. I know a lot of people seem to love Teppan Edo but it just doesn't appeal to us.

We have been to all the restaurants you mentioned except Spice Road. Maybe I will check out the menu.

Of the three you listed, SAI is the all around best meal of the three. TE is a waste of a Disney meal for us since we have much better hibachi closer to home. CR has a good atmosphere, unless you are unfortunate enough to be sitting next to the tank, but the food is not very good. SAI has a nice atmosphere (whether you are on the water or not) and the food is pretty good as well.

Yachtsmen is only about a 7-10 minute walk from the time you exit the IG to the time you get there. In fact, it could take you less time to get to than it would take to get to Coral Reef, depending on where you are. If you really wanted to go there, don't skip it just because you have to walk a little bit.

We haven't eaten at any of them but Teppan Edo is on our list for May. The other two seem more about atmosphere than food.

We have been thinking about going to SAI the past two years but never have yet.

I wouldn’t choose Teppan Edo, but only because we have good hibachi restaurants around here with a lot of theming.

I do think that you should try the other two @maryj11 at least once. Neither had the greatest food of the WDW restaurants we’ve been to, but both had a unique atmosphere and theme.

I did like my food at San Angel Inn quite a bit, and it was fun to sit near the water. The margaritas and sangria were excellent. The Coral Reef is beautiful. My entree wasn’t great, but the Jack Daniels and Bailey’s mousse dessert was awesome.

Of the 3 you mentioned, San Angel Inn. (Though Mexican will always be my #1 pick).

I also LOVE Les Chefs de France. Via Napoli and Teppan Edo are high on my list too. It kills me when I go to Disney and have to choose. Some day, when I retire, I will spend 3 weeks at Disney and go to every Epcot restaurant and every signature dining restaurant (and most other restaurants too...actually I need to stay 2 months!!). They are all soooo good.

Teppan Edo hands down. It's my favorite in EPCOT. Also really love Chefs de France. I really don't think you could go wrong at either.

I agree with the others who say none of them, LOL! We love the atmosphere at both San Angel and Coral Reef, but the food is mediocre at best and we've seen better teppan shows elsewhere. I also suggest looking into Spice Road Table. It's our absolute favorite in EP and now a must-do on every trip. Also, if you were thinking of eating at Yachtsman, perhaps consider Monsieur Paul? It's right in the park and it's outstanding!

Of the three I'd go with San Angel. Since you have already done TE, I'd say try something new. We have been going for over 30 years and there are maybe one or two restaurants we have repeated, otherwise we always try to go somewhere new. We haven't eaten at CR, we have been diving in the Living Seas and I love to wave at the kids in the restaurant but the menu has never appealed to us. We used to eat at SA every trip but we stopped about 10 years ago. The service had been slowly going down hill and the food wasn't as good as before either. We did try it again about 3 years ago and while it wasn't great it was o.k. We were walking around Epcot and hungry and it was the only thing available at the time. It is very crowded and even with an ADR we had to wait about 30 min. The service was still pretty bad and the food just o.k. We actually like the other Mexican TS before.

We are trying San Angel Inn and Teppon Edo on our upcoming trip. Since you have already been to TE I would try SAI.

I tend to pick trying something new as my default, so I'd go with San Angel over Coral Reef. I haven't been to either of them in years, and they are probably the two worst-reviewed restaurants in Epcot, but San Angel would be the one I'm more likely to try again because it is in such a beautiful setting and a location that makes it easier to work into park touring.

I picked Teppan Edo, as I do love the food there. Its actually better than the hibachi in my hometown. But i agree that if you can spare a 5 min walk, i'd go with Yachtsman.
